 Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! 

Here is my desk this morning, not a lot different from last week, as I haven't been able to do anything all week! 

I think the only thing different is the box of tools that I needed to change a battery in a little fan. But I have been busy, we went to Toronto to stay with my DD and celebrate her birthday and my Granddaughter's 3rd birthday! It was a dinosaur party held at a park, the day was sunny and beautiful, and I spent the day painting little faces to look like dinos (and a couple of butterflies, a zebra, a bunny, a blue ghost and a demon)!

It was a fun day for all, and a very tiring one too! I will get back to my art room this week, I am almost done with my 100 day challenge! 

I had some questions about the foxes and the cats - the foxes are curious, but find out very quickly that the cats are not something to be tangled with! We usually hear the fox scream in terror when the cats confront them! 

The size of my little journal is 

4 1/4" x3", and I think I have 2 pages left to do, but then I will start another one!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week, next time it will be June already! Why does spring and summer go so fast and winter so slow? The kitties say meow as well!

WOWW #781 The Start of a new Era!

 Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We have a new hostess to keep our little group going (Thank you Sarah!). We will miss Queen Julia as our fearless leader, but long live Queen Sarah!

Today is a beautiful sunny Spring day. We have a family of foxes living on the corner, who love to come and play in our yard in the mornings! Here is Mama and one of the kits going across the street to my neighbors house (another favourite playground!)

You can see a journal on my desk. Have you every heard of the "Wreck This Journal" journal? I've had it for awhile, and the name put me off - I don't want to "wreck" anything! They talk about being a kind of "rebel" and to do things you wouldn't normally do in a journal, such as "wreck" it. That is so against my nature, but I wanted to give it a try on my terms, so I changed the name to "Enhance Your Journal", which I thought was quite a "rebel" thing to do! At some point I will show some of the pages.

Hello! What a lovely spring day we are having here today! The leaves on the trees have finally popped out, and flowering trees and bushes are starting to flower!

I missed last week because hubby and I have taken up Pickleball and we had a lesson last Wednesday morning, but we are now playing Mondays and Thursdays so Wednesdays are free again. Here is my desk this morning:

It is just taking a short break until this afternoon...

I splurged last week on some Washi Tape that was on sale...

It is so beautiful! I now have a big box of Washi Tape. I keep them in colour groups on rings, I really like this way of storing them. They don't need to be removed from the rings to use them, This idea came from Sarah Gardner from Fodder School.

So I was inspired to make it into a little collage journal...

And that's it for me this week! Here is a "weed" that grew up at the end of our driveway, I don't know where it came from, but is sure is pretty, and smells wonderful!

Google says it's a Prunus "Elvins" from Melbourne! Somehow it has made it's way to Canada...I hope everyone has a wonderful week, the kitties say "meow" to their cousins across the pond!

Happy May 1st! I love spring! The leaves are starting to pop out, the Daffodils are blooming, people are mowing their lawns...lovely! I just wish it would warm up as it is still rather cold these days.
