WOYWW #469

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoyed last week's anniversary! I wasn't able to get around to everyone, but I tried! I missed one return, I will definitely get to her this time! We had a crazy weekend - my Mom, niece and I went on an all-day house tour, then DH, my niece and I had an awesome dinner just of bread and dips! In the meantime - my daughter and her boyfriend got engaged in Banff, Alberta! It was a surprise for her, we knew it would happen soon, but didn't know when or how! She was supposed to be all on her own on her Birthday (Saturday) but he surprised her! It was all so sweet.  I had to work on Sunday, so there went the weekend!

Anyway, you are here to see my desk this morning, here it is:

My friend is coming tomorrow to play, we are going to try gelli prints, which she has never done before!

I also made a new journal page this week:

I'm very pleased with this one! The page wanted the dragonflies to fly!

Well, that's it for me today, one last picture, here is Inky and her Chipmunk friend "Chippy", who is sticking his head out of a drainpipe

Inky says "meow", and I hope everyone has a great week!

Congrats on your daughter's engagement. Wonderful news, and on her b'day, too.

I've made a few of those pop-up pages, but none turned out as well as your dragonflies. Beautiful pages and a great technique.

I hope your friend likes the gelli better than I did. I wanted one for three years, finally bought one, and promptly HATED it. I'm afraid of it. Once it gets nicked, there's no way to make it go back to the way it was.

Bleubeard says hi to Inky. Squiggles is in hiding (grin).

Happy Belated WOYWW! I need one of those time turners from Harry Potter! Have fun with your friend! Gelli printing is so addictive! I always run out of drying space. And paper! LOL! Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.

A busy desk, Linda, and everything looks organised! Gorgeous journal page too. What a sweet picture of Inky + companion! Thank you for your lovely comment - so glad you enjoyed my post. I had a lovely birthday thanks, and we had a good couple of days out As for the kitties' defences, my hubby has put up brackets with netting extending inwards at an angle right around the garden. They havenn't been out for a couple of days because we were too late back and today I'm much too tired after all our recent activities!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Linda & Inky what lovely news about your Daughter and a wonderful surprise. Hope you have great fun when your friend comes to play with the gelli.
Please do not worry about not getting chance to visit last week, life is busy and I think the majority of us have been hit with the lack of comment notifications, it's down to the new GDPR laws. You have to tick the notification box/email follow ups if you want to receive them but it's difficult to remember each post.
