WOYWW #429

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

G'day everyone! (That's what they say in the Ottawa Valley, where my hubby grew up!) Hope you are having a lovely day so far. Yesterday brought us not one, but two huge torrential downpours, so I won't have to water the garden for awhile!

Here is my desk this morning:

I'm working on my journal, my stamps, and my canvases. Here are the latest ones: The top 2 are taken, but the blue one is for sale!

And my last journal page - we are contemplating getting another kitten, this cat has all the names of our previous cats listed on it!

And some late August garden pics:

 My "grotto"

My overgrown Perennial Garden - just how I like it! I love the Echinaceas, will plant more next year!

 Some of our wildlife visitors!

I found Inky playing (yes, PLAYING!!!) with a chipmunk the other day - the Chipmunk seemed fine with it, not running away, even lay on it's back, and came up to her and sniffed Inky's nose! Hubby was sure the little guy was going to get eaten, but they were playing - together! I was so fascinated I forgot to take a pic. Next time. . .

So Inky says G'day too, and we are off to peek at everyone else's desk now!

Have a wonderful week!

Hi Linda, how amazing the chipmunk and Inky playing together! Look forward to the pictures. Love seeing your garden, I've got a couple of beds I'm trying to fill up, sort of cottage garden style, so there is always something flowering, and it pretty much looks after itself. Have a lovely day, Hugs, Shaz #7 XxX

Hello Linda!
I am loving the vibrant colors for your journaling pages. But I am a nature lover and am really enjoying peeking at your lovely garden. My garden took a hit this year, due to my travels and the absolute lack of rain.
Have a blessed day!

Hi Linda. Just checked in to my blog post and discovered your comments. Thank you. No, I didn't witness the fall - it happened a good many miles away as Chris and hubby, Adrian, were setting out on their new life as waterbabes!! Adrian didn't witness it either - he was down in the boat deep in the lock. He heard the scream!
Love the colour of that page you are going to put a dragon on. Gorgeous - and you have certainly been one busy lady! Lots to see. Is that a black squirrel in the photo? We didn't even know they existed until we went to Canada a good while ago now and saw them in Stanley Park, Vancouver. Cheeky little things they were...
Take care. God bless.

Oooh, I'm liking the look of your dragon page - the colours are lush! I enjoyed pootling around your desk but what is a Pitt pen? And you're not alone with dirty brushes, mine were always filthy when I painted :-D. Your garden is looking glorious, more echinacea sounds like a good plan to me, lol!!

It would be so fun if you got another kitten! Although Inky might get a bit jealous, but soon she would learn that she can play with the newcomer - that's what happened to my parents' cat as well. I've never seen a chipmunk before - we don't have them here. I thought it was a black squirrel. How cute! Love your garden and creations! Have a good week! zsuzsa #23

Lovely productive creative desk as always... Beautiful... Wee fur face has found a new friend in the wee chipmunk... amazing little animals... So I'm not sure how boss fur face is going to take to a new baby fur face... but maybe once they get to know each other they will become best of friends... Love your Garden... Have a happy creative week ahead... May #15

I'm amazed that Inky was good to the chipmunk, only on the species level you understand, one would have thought that a cat and a chipmunk would break into merry hell, frankly. I understand why but lament the unmounting of your wood mounted stamps, I had to look away! Love the journal page - bet you do get a new kitty cat. Your garden looks amazing, full of colour and life1

Hi Linda. The Dragon drawing is beautiful. Love the colours! Your garden is in a way better state than mine. I need to hire a new gardener! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes, we do seem to have a lot of pregnant ladies at my place! I will probably end up with more cards than I need, but I can guarantee they won't go to waste. Have a lovely week, Heather #6

Love your journal pages, Linda and the garden, WOW how it's grown. We've had plenty of rain too so not having to water much either.
Our cats keeping bringing frogs in, they are still alive, I think they just want to play too.
Enjoy your week

Love the idea of Inky playing with the chipmunk, it's a sign he'll perhaps get on well with a new kitten! Great journal page, the silhouettes are a great contrast to the background. Thanks for visiting. Sarah #18

Hi Linda, what a great post! Love all the annotated photos and your gorgeous work - the dragon page looks fabulous! Your garden is quite beautiful, and nice to see Inky up to her tricks again. Thank you for your great comment and I'm glad you enjoyed reading my post. I really feel for people going through real hurricanes, and I hope I've captured something of it in my little album. Glad you like our two new arrivals - they are getting so big now! Full of life and fun and we can't imagine life without them! Hugs will be duly passed on next time I can catch them, and give Inky one from me!

Happy belated WOYWW,
