WOYWW #428

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Midway through August - it's been a busy one so far! Last weekend we were at a family reunion at a nearby lake - lots of people, fun, food and wine! So much for my diet, but back on track now - only gained .2 lbs (and I ate everything!!)!

Here is my desk this morning. I always forget what I will find in the morning, so it's always a surprise! Oh, right, I was doing this!

I have been making my index cards into canvases, and this month I've put 3 of them in a local gallery, and I was surprised when one of them sold! See the red dot? SOLD!

So that was exciting!

Here are two journal pages from last week:

This one was "working with black"
The one below was working with gel-medium through a stencil

We are still having a lot of rain - yesterday afternoon it was bright and sunny, I got my book and my wine, and went to sit on the front porch to read, and within 5 minutes this happened:

So Inky and I say so long for now! I will now go and peek at your desks!

Hi there. So pleased you have been able to think what to do with some of those gorgeous cards and one sold already!! Congratulations. I was away last week, and one of the days I never left the caravan - it just poured with rain for over 24 hours! Gave me lots of time to read and play craftwise, though!
Take care. God bless.

I'm so impressed that you sold one of your canvases, Linda! Well done you! I'd like to know how you turn your index cards into canvases. Do you stick them on a canvas and create a coordinating border around them? Loving the rainy shot on your front porch - so atmospheric - much more so than a sunny shot - and it looks like you were sheltered against the rain. Hope you have lots of fun this week - say hello to Inky for me! xx zsuzsa #29

Hello, Linda. I wish we could get some of your rain. We have the strangest summers. Very little rain and lower than normal temps. My flower and vegetable gardens didn't stand up well with these changes.
I love your canvases and congratulations on your sale. I am so inspired and find it so much fun to discover new forms of art. I am a papercrafter and Copic colorist. I have my own Etsy shop but have neglected it for over a year trying to refocus my efforts. Reading on rainy days makes me happy. Thanks for stopping by my blog today and have a blessed day!
