WOYWW #417

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings everyone! Hopefully everyone is enjoying a lovely Spring (or Fall!) day wherever you are! We have had a LOT of rain, but luckily we have had a few nice days in between.

Here is my desk today. I am somewhat in shock, as I seem to be putting things away as I finish using them. What is wrong with me? Obviously, not enough to do!

Lately I have been so busy, I barely find time to do my index cards, but I have done them, here they are - I'm halfway through the 100 Day Project with card #50!

I did make a birthday card for DD, but as she hasn't received it yet, I won't post it until next week.

Garden:

All the flowers from my beautiful crab-apple tree are already on the ground. I think the rain had something to do with that! I identified my giant pink flowering bush as Weigela.

I planted my herb garden this past week, put marigolds in my Perennial Garden, and planted 3 new perennials. I think this garden is now officially full!

can you "hear" the song in this one?

I only have 2 little teeny gardens, this one and one I call my "grotto", which is next up for gardening. It will be neat to see this perennial garden fill in over the summer, it doesn't look like much right now!

Well, that's it for me for now! Inky and Penny want to say hello too!

Thanks for visiting! Now I am off to see your blog! I have developed a way to be able to get to everyone (I do 10 at a time!), maybe not all in one day, but I have been getting to you all! Thank you for your wonderful comments!

I am loving your index cards, I have joined in with the ICAD project, which like your challenge is for a few weeks but never see it through to the end - hats off to you, you look like you are keeping the momentum going with these little beauties.
Have a great week,

You are so good keeping up with your cards, they are really beautiful. I enjoy looking at them each week.
I had to smile at your garden being officially full, is there such a thing, no one told me!!!! I can always find room for something even though it's jam packed, lol.
Thank you for stopping by earlier and your lovely comments.

Clearing up as you go! Heavens, you'll put us all to shame. Love your index cards. What will you do with them once you've completed the 100 day project? It's the wind that steals my blossoms away but we've been lucky this year - they held on long enough to produce more apples than last year from what I can see. You're making the most of what little garden you have - the herb boxes will not only look fabulous but will provide some tasty seasoning through the year. Thanks for telling me about your experience of falling out of the bed - I don't feel so daft now. You're not the only one that has told me the torn muscle could take some time to heal so I don't think I'll be running a marathon any time soon and the gardening will have to wait a while too. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #33

Great Index cards and a fabulous garden ! Before I forget... The tax discs were a small paper certificate that UK cars displayed on the windscreen but we don't have them anymore. A friend had collected them and was clearing them out and I just thought they might be useful. I never kept mine and just threw them away when the new one arrived. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy crafty woyww, Angela x21x

Those index cards look great! Are they for trying out new techniques or will you use them in some other way?

Great photos of your desk and gardens. Yeah, sometimes I get a wild bug up my booty and clean up after myself too. What is wrong with us?! LOL. Dorlene #39

Number 50 is my favourite this week, love the greens and gold.
I agree painting with the credit card scraping technique is my favourite with paint. I'm not really a paint person probably as you have to wait for it to dry and it is very messy. Perhaps I'll have a go in a mo and then do the ironing whilst it dries. Thanks for the visit BJ#11

I have the sad habit of clearing up after myself as I go along. It sometimes backfires when I want something again, but at least I get some exercise lol. Loving your index cards, especially #47. Happy WOYWW Sarah #22

Hi there. Your index cards are lovely. Well done. I'm most impressed that you are putting things away between projects. I only do that if I have nothing special to speedily work on... Your garden is looking great - and phew! I was mightily relieved to see the parsley in the next picture down!!!
Take care. God bless.

Your desk still looks quite busy but tidy. And your index cards are wonderful. I've been enjoying them for quite some Wednesdays! I was looking in your garden for Simon and Garfunkel maybe in the background somewhere.. LOL! Song is now running through my mind. Beautiful cats. Thanks for the visit, I'm still getting around.
