WOYWW #405

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Wow, another week gone by in a flash! Time goes by so fast these days! I'm still plowing away at my stamps, trying to get them done as quickly as I can so I can start working on other things (like art!). I just don't seem to be getting anything done these days. I have had a request from a friend for a card, so I will do that. Maybe I will actually have something to show next week! For now, this is this morning's desk:

The binders are piling up, but I'm only at "F" . . .I decided to put "Faces" in with "Parts" and "People" so it may take two binders.

And there's lots more to go. . .

Inky says "hi" from a box! I don't usually keep my garbage cans lying on the floor, but I always know when Inky has been searching!

That's it for today, short and sweet! Now I'm off to look at yours!

 Happy International Women's Day!

Hi Linda, You didn't put your number (#43), but I tracked you down:)

I think you may need to put an extension on your house, for all your folders.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Hi Linda, laughing here at Inky. What is it with cats and boxes? It's a Herculean task, unmounting so many stamps, I agree. But well worth all the effort.

I certainly admire your progress and persistence with the stamp project. Keep reminding yourself how much FUN you'll have creating when it's all done & they are so easy to find & use often!

Wow, I thought I had too many stamps! I admire your perseverance! I'm sure I would get distracted. I know I would.

I'll look for you on Wanderlust :)

Okay, you have more stamps than I've ever seen. Not a bad thing mind you (maybe some envy there...) I am doubly impressed with how well you are getting them all organized. I laughed when I read about Inky throwing bits of paper down the stairs. One of our cats steals things from bedrooms only to hide them under the dining room table. Many thinks for stopping by earlier. #24

Oh wow - what a lot of stamps!! Looks like you're going to be very busy for a while yet!! I have been trying to sort my clear and unmounted stamps recently as well but haven't got very far. Thanks for visiting earlier.

Isn't it strange how cats love boxes? Mine used to be just the same, I even have a photo of her high up on a cupboard peering from a carrier bag!
Keep going on the stamps, the end will be here before you know it, long way to go but just think of the benefits.

Isn't it amazing how cats the world over just HAVE to sit in a box, no matter how large or small, it's irresistible!! Inky made me smile, you can see the mischief from here :-D. You're doing a sterling job sorting out those stamps, keep at it - it'll be worth it in the long run!

After this task you need to electronically catalogue them so you can track them down - have a proper indexed library thingy- copyright a system like Dewy Decimel - only a craft version? xxx ( thx for coming to see me...fellow woywwer)

My goodness, Lindart, what a lot of stamps you've got! I am in awe of your organisation - don't get frustrated about the lack of actual art because the sense of achievement you'll get once you've finished sorting the stamps will be phenomenal! I love seeing Inky and her antics! Our two are too old now to play much although Phoebe has her moments! Thank you for your lovely comment, so nice hearing about your older kitty. You are right - they always get between you and whatever you are trying to do lol! It's sad to see them getting less agile when they get older but I suppose it's the same for us! I'm still using my granny frame and I said to my hubby today that we ought to get Beatrice one!

Happy belated WOYWW,

WOW, that's an astronomical collection of stamps, no wonder it's taking you a while to get them organized. However, I think you'll be glad once you get it all done. BTW, I love the cat in the box!
