Still doing great - 2 WOYWW weeks in a row! Yay! If you want to know more about WOYWW (What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday) go on over to Julia's blog and see what all the fuss is! Today we woke up to sun! What a nice change! Although we are supposed to get snow later on today.
Here is what I saw when I woke up this morning:
I really hated my journal page until I put those strips of paper on it!
Those 3x5 cards come in handy almost every day!
Close up of the hated page
But wait - what did hubby bring home for me last night??
What I guy! I'm liking this page more now!
This is directly to my left. I finally have a permanent spot for Ms. Big Shot. Don't know why I didn't think of this before!
Finally got around to labeling my spice bottles. . .
But what the heck are these called? Anyone know?
And now for a peek at my latest journal pages:
Oct 15- Just started going through my paper stash. . .

Then I went through my ephemera savings and found these two flower postcards, the sticker tag, and the license plates. I also used Dimensional paint on the dragonfly wings - first time!
Wanted to use my new bird stamp on a page, then found this awesome lace - great dimensional addition!
This
time I looked through my stash of pre-stamped images for inspiration
and found this "ART" piece. I love the blue-red-yellow color scheme! Quite accidental of course!
And that's that. I'm sure today's page will show up in a weeks time on the next WOYWW!
That's it for today! Thank you for your wonderful comments!

I love the addition of the stripes of paper, great to have the contrast and texture and the beer mat is a gem indeed!! Sometimes it is the littlest things that are the nicest thoughts. Lovely journal pages you have going on too. Annette #11
All lovely pages there! Lovely hubby - I just hope he brought you the beer to go with it! Happy crafting, Chris # 8

Love how you adapted your journal page - seems to be a week for sharing pages we're not totally happy with, I did that too! The later ones are even better!! Helen 4
Love your journal pages! Especially the one with the birdcages washi tape. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #39
Great journal pages. It's amzing what a difference the strips of paper made to the pages.
Hope you have a great crafty week, Angela x 28
No clue what those are called :) but I do love the journal ages. I love messy art, and I love chaotic, but sometimes your eye just needs a place to REST and I think those strips provide just that.
It's been ages since I worked i my journal so I should have a play next time I find I have time to play rather than work :)
Happy happy WOYWW!

Well damn. That's me done for the day - it's kicked me to Word verification in my old browser now as well so I'll have to wait another day {sigh}
These are some awesome journal pages. Love!!
Cheers

awesome art in those journal pages! I think you are right the paper strips breaks it up and makes it pop and you really should give DH for bringing the beer mat home!! I think those things are called clips but if you have to use an eyelet setter to make them work they are eyelet clips. I had some...probably still do and don't use them much! Have a great week. Lovely pages. Love the triangle pattern on the blue page.
Looks like a lot of busy stuff on your desk this week!
Thanks for your visit to my blog and for the nice comments. Sorry I'm late visiting this week.
Happy belated Woyww,
