WOYWW #388

Another Wednesday - 4 in a row! Hopefully I can keep this up! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

I have been working on my journals this week - yes, I have two that I am currently working on. First, there is the one you are all used to seeing, my Journal #13, almost finished! Then there is a new-ish journal I am calling Mama Bird Journal #1.

As some of you might remember, way back in the summer I had started working on a Life Coaching course called ARTbundance. Well, I am now in the very ending stages, I have 2 coaching sessions to do, and one "event" workshop to do, then I will hopefully get my certification!

If you would like to help me get to my certification, you can attend my FREE workshop event, on Monday Nov 14, at 10am EST, AND get lots of FREE goodies from ARTella at the same time!

Here is the workshop, it is called:

Nurturing Your Nest with ARTjournaling

All of us have our “nest”, our place of comfort and safety. This workshop will help you to nurture your nest so that you can deal with the day to day problems that we all have. We will do this in two ways:
1-through learning about ARTbundance and ARTsignments
2-through recording your experiences in an ARTjournal – no experience necessary!
You will leave this workshop with 3 completed pages of an ARTjournal, and one to work on afterwards; some great insights, and the great feeling of having had FUN! There will also be a follow up email with more ideas, and how to make your pages into a book form.

This workshop is for you if:
1. You would like to find out more about yourself, and how to manage your own day to day problems
2. You have never heard of ARTjournaling and it intrigues you
3. If you have heard of ARTjournaling and have always wanted to try it but had no idea how to start, or even if you could do it
4. If you are artistic and want a way to use your creativity
5. If you are NOT artistic but want to try anyway! You don’t need to be an artist for this workshop, or even creative!

Now, I know you are ALL artistic, and perhaps the thing you would learn in this workshop (which is the very BASIC of Art journaling techniques) but you might be interested in the Nurturing part of it, how to make your art journal a Nurturing place through ARTbundance.. You can do whatever you like on your pages!

If you are interested, please click here:

Scroll down past the blue with the sunflowers, and I am there.

OK, now that that part is done, here is my desk this week:

I am working on a journal page in my Mama Bird Journal, which is connected to my ARTbundance course. Here is the finished page:

This page is about celebrating the completion of my course - even though it isn't actually completed yet!

Here is the cover of my Mama Bird Journal - I made this cover years ago - now I know what it was waiting for!

Here is an actual clean spot in my stamp room (which I am renaming "my nest"):

Here is the finished page from Journal #13 from last week - I thought it was too bright, so I toned it down:

and here is step one using the paper-towel mop-up from last week:

One last photo - of me! In my Nest!

So glad you stayed all the way until the end - Thank you!

WOYWW #387

Another Wednesday - 3 in a row! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

I have mostly been working on journal pages lately. I did envision myself cleaning up my desk, but it just didn't happen! So here's what it looks like today:

Not a lot different, maybe even messier than last week!

Here is a paper towel I used on my last journal page, dried. I'm going to try and use it on another journal page! It's so pretty!

Here are the other journal pages I have been working on-
Halloween:

I love the colors in this one:
and I used my new feather stamps and die cuts

And step one of my newest page, not sure where it's going yet. . .

Well, that's it for now! I will go and peek at YOUR desks now!

WOYWW #386

Another Wednesday - 2 in a row! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

So my desk doesn't look a lot different - I'm in the middle of working on a journal page, with just enough room to do that. I think I may do a big clean up this week! I thought I would show bits of the rest of my room while I'm here.

When I look up from my desk, I see this - lots of stamps on top and stuff like stickers, ribbons, glue, and lots more stored in the large Iris carts. My TV is on the left. All my word stamps are in the red stacking drawers on the left.

If I look to my right. I see this - some of my boxes and boxes of stamps in categories (just mounted)

When I look to my left I see this - more boxes of stamps! All my UMs are to the left in the colored boxes, and then all my paper to the left of them, right behind me as I work, all sorted into colors. I keep them in clear trays that I used to keep my stamps in.

Last week was our 32nd wedding anniversary. Hubby always gets me red roses for our anniversary! I made him this card.

We had a lovely dinner in a fancy restaurant!

Thanks for looking!

WOYWW #385

As you can see, it's been awhile. Summer was busy, and I really didn't think about my blog a lot! But now the weather is cooling off, and I noticed my desk - wow -what a mess! Back to the  tiny workspace again!

I do have a tendency to stack things, to put things somewhere until I have the time to put things away. . .I stood in one spot and took these 3 photos. On my. . .

I have been busy however, I just made 2 tri-fold cards for birthdays, but only thought of photographing them when I was slipping them into the mailbox - that's what I get for waiting far too long to make them! Needless to say they will be belated birthday cards! Today I will make another tri-fold card for our anniversary (32 years!) tomorrow. Hard to believe it's been 32 years! Thirty-seven if you add the 5 years we lived together before!

Here is my latest journal page:

Have you ever just wanted to reset your day? Reboot your life? Put a "reset" button in your journal, and when things are getting you down, just get your mind set, and push the button. RESET! Now you can start over!

Thanks for visiting! Hopefully I will participate more now that the colder weather is settling in! I did finish the book I was making last time, perhaps I will post that soon!
