WOYWW #886

It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.

It's been a strange week, time seems to be flying by! All of a sudden it's Wednesday again...

Here is my desk, not much on it, I had just finished the page in my journal.

Here are the Soul Journal pages I did this week:

I made these pages a week ago...

I drew my Oracle Card yesterday...

Amazing! I often make pages ahead, and they usually fit in with my ideas, but this one was right on! (read what's on the wave!)

Have a wonderful week, we are finally getting decent temperatures, but I understand that many of you are getting very high temperatures, so please stay cool and be safe!

Always a delight to see your journal pages. Love the mermaid - there's a slow stitching mermaid by the lady I'm doing the current project from. It was in the VIP package but she shows the pattern and finished article in the free version so how hard can it be? The swan page made me smile too. Hugs Bj#2

I love your soul journal pages. They make me think of a poem by Marge Piercy, The Seven of Pentacles: https://www.best-poems.net/marge_piercy/the_seven_of_pentacles.html
The last two paintings are by my tutor, Claire Sparkes.
The sleeves are mainly to cover cannulas. I’ve made twiddle lap blankets before, which can be nice for someone dozes a lot, or a twiddle mitt.
Bella sends purrs to Inky and Mittsy.
Have a good week

Beautiful pages there, I particularly love your mermaid! They fascinate me, such a long tradition of myth and legend. There’s a particularly fine carved stone mermaid in the cloisters at Lacock Abbey, near Bath, I always wondered what the nuns would have thought gazing up at her!
