I guess I missed our 17th anniversary? Happy belated Anniversary to everyone! We just got back from a wild weekend celebrating Jasper's birthday. Wild time...exhausted, but we've had a day to recuperate! Here is some of the art I did this week:
I also decorated the birthday cake, and face painted a lot of tiny faces!
We had the perfect day, and it ended with huge fireworks (it was Victoria Day), which scared poor Jasper and she had to go home. They were very close, VERY loud, and I certainly jumped at most of them! But she did enjoy this:

Cute photo-ops, and what fun making them. So lucky my kids never minded fireworks, but also that Poppy is unbothered. Jasper looks like she thinks sparklers were the best version of fireworks so that's something fun. Enjoy pickleball :D

I do like fireworks (in the right place) but they do seem to be a lot louder than when I was a kid! Glad the party went well. Happy WOYWW Helen #1
Everything seems too noisy to me these days (which is strange as I can never hear what my husband says) but fireworks are so pretty it's worth it. But we do get a lot of fireworks in London that just go 'bang' and that can be quite distressing at festival time.
