WOYWW #834

It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.

Hello! It's been a long time since I have been able to post, I missed the Zoom party😢, but hopefully next year. I have been very sick with asthma related viruses and I still have laryngitis, but that won't matter here. Long time sick, long time recovering, I am now feeling more like myself! I was able to do a few things over the time I was sick, which I will show you. I was DELIGHTED ☺️☺️❤️🌸🌸🌷
to recieve an ATC from Mary Anne in the mail yesterday. I found it after watching King Charles on TV who is visiting Canada right now, an envelope marked "Royal Mail" with his head on a stamp, it was quite exciting! I love the ATC! Thank you!

Here is my desk this morning:

And here is the journal page I made yesterday:

I really need to get outdoors!
I joined a free workshop called Sketchbook Revival Bingefest which had a lot of free "gifts", one of which was how to draw cats! So here is my first attempt with her directions:

Each cat face starts with a number.

Here are the pages that I somehow worked on when I was sick (I don't even remember)

The above are from my fabric journal, I've only just hit the middle...so several more pages to do.

This is in my JIYA journal.

Jasper turned
2 weekends ago, I was very happy to be well enough to attend her "Frozen" birthday party
with Elsa!

Well that's it for me, it is finally spring here and all the trees are green and growing fast, the foxes are back and Mittsy is now staring them down off the porch! Such a brave cat!

Have a wonderful week!

You poor thing, sorry to hear you've not been too good recently. I'm on catch up today as we had to go out earlier for a few hours. Great to see you all enjoying the birthday party. Wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs Angela x8x

Sorry you were so poorly, I had a similar bout in April. I’m glad you could attend the birthday party though. You may already know these but I recommend drinking lots of hot honey lemon and ginger and using a device such as airphysio to clear your lungs.
Your journal pages and cat drawings are lovely.

Sorry to hear you have been poorly, but glad to hear you are on the mend now.
I didn’t realize that The Sketchbook thing had started. Great pages, even if you can’t remember doing them ! Happy WOYWW. Angela #9

So sorry to hear you've been poorly but glad you are on the mend at last. Amazing journal pages and how great to get the ATC and stamp of King Charles whilst he's visiting. As for me having the sewing machine out on a separate "permanent" table was brilliant for Making Zen. I was pretty busy, hence my late reply. Hugs BJ#5

Ah glad it arrived! Hope it perked you up a bit after feeling so poorly. LOVE all your journal pages - I have some of the Lynn Perella (?) stamps and just love them. You made good use of those. Of course the cats make me happiest :D A fabric journal sounds fun - I have a lot and am not making the most of it for sure. Jasper is growing so quickly - 4 already?? how does it happen?
The week got away from me but Happy (so late) WOYWW!
