It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.
It is a cold blustery November day today! Feeling more like November, as we have been getting such warm days lately. Here is my desk this morning:
I am getting ready to dye that pile of cloth strips. My new project is a Fabric Book, taught by Wendy Solganik, Fodder School 1. Here is what I have been working on all week: dying fabrics...
Marking on fabrics, and block printing on them
Lots of fun, I don't know how much I will need, so this may or may not be enough!
I also worked on my JIYA Journal this week, some pages are using my new Megan Quinlan stencils:
This one is one I showed before, but is now completed:
That's it for my art this week, I am surprised at how much I got accomplished!
We had a visitor yesterday...
Inky is a good guardian of her property, even when the trespasser is much larger than she is! She actually chased Henrietta away a couple of times!
And Mittsy prefers to stay indoors, not chasing turkeys!
Well, that's it for me, we all wish you a wonderful week! Stay warm and cozy!

Hi Linda, it's sunny here but quite chilly. You have been busy, sometimes it just happens and other times nothing so well done. The photos of Mittsy made me smile too, most people have a guard dog but you have a guard cat! love her. Wishing you a very happy and productive woyww. Hugs Angela x11x
Go Mittsy! She’s not afraid of a big old turkey is she?! We only get small birds in our garden, a magpie is about the biggest we get. Love your journal pages, you obviously had fun doing that and they dyeing experiments are going to be interesting!

Love the art experiments with papers & yummy jars of dye, that's exciting. I also enjoyed the glimpses of the art journal! Seeing how much you made makes me lomg to open up mine soon too.
Cheers
Miserable here too, weather and mood. But your pile of fabric makes me smile and your desk reminds me art can heal the soul. Your block printed vabrics are fab.
It's a sad/angry/scared but doing my best WOYWW

Your JIYA Journal is fabulous - love the illustrations. Great new stencils to set you off on your way with them.
Had a smile at the turkey - cannot imagine something like that walking about outside my front door. Inky is so brave.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
