It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.
What lovely October weather we have been having! Temperatures going up to 21°C! We have been able to sit on the porch for wine time most of the month! Crazy...
Here is my desk, taken yesterday:
Not much happening, although I did buy 2 tins for upcoming projects, and a couple of new paints. Other than that it has been a slow week, not much action here! Hopefully next week I can get back to working on my accordion book.
Here is a page from my JIYA journal. The skeleton is something that I have had for years and years, that was made by a woman named Tolegranny that belonged to a group I was in many years ago. I've always loved this skelly, and was glad to find a permanent home for her before she fell apart!
This past Sunday was our 40th wedding anniversary! It's hard to believe! Here is the card I made for my hubby from one of the collages I made in the spring:

I made a special anniversary dinner of roast beef and Yorkshire Pudding, and this time the Yorkshire Puddings worked! First time for me!
Well that's it for me today. The cats are enjoying the fall weather, but come in often to get warm, then pop out again. They do love the afternoon sun!
So Mittsy and Inky say "meow" to all their cousins across the pond, and I say "have a great week everyone!"

Wow! I would love to see Jesus Christ Superstar. I have seen it on the TV and got the CD. We are going to a Northern Soul event on Friday - my husband’s favourite music. Happy WOYWW Angela #11

Hi there, making a concerted effort to get round EVERYONE today after my busy conference week last week. WOW those Yorkshires are amazing and brilliant then and now photos, how super. Love the card collage, bet your hubby did too.

JCSS! Maddie adored Cats as a child, and we got some boxed set of a bunch of musicals, Joseph, Cats, JCSS, and more, and she watched them to death. Like you I am a fan of findng a home for random bits of art, and always find it better to use them on a journal page than leave them lurking in a drawer or box. Mittsy and Inky look very happy - Poppy would be off like a shot if I let her out like that. Lucky You, lucky THEM.
Happy next-day WOYWW.

with our Panto history, I'm a big fan of all things (well mostly all) musical. JCS is brilliant - I especially love the one Tim Minchin appeared in. I love your journal pages this week,

Oh just HAD to let you know who Miriam was. She was the older sister to Moses, tasked to keep and eye on him when he was left in the basket in the reeds in the river where Pharaoh's daughter found him. Later on she and their brother Aaron helped Moses lead the Israelites out of Egypt. She was a prophetess and worship leader. Hope that's OK. Hugs BJ.
How lovely to be celebrating October on the porch with a glass of wine. Seems lots of people have had a mild beginning to autumn.
Congratulation on your Ruby wedding anniversary. What a lovely way to spend it seeing Jesus Christ Superstar, fabulous music. And a roast dinner - with real Yorkshire Puddings. Did you know the correct way to serve them (according to Yorkshire folks) is as a first course with sliced raw onion and gravy. I think it originated to fill you up so you didn't need as much meat.
I can sympathise on the flat ones - I once took my Rangers (Girl Scouts?) on a weekend cooking for some Scout Leaders on a conference. My Yorkshire Puds were a disaster and my girls called them flying saucers! I'm better now but still a bit hit and miss.
Love hubbies card and the photos of you both - you haven't changed much, still the same eyes and smile, maybe a hair colour change and that is it.
Sending Belated Hugs for your Ruby

Congratulations on your anniversary - lovely photos of then and now. I just love the card you made for your hubby, and the little skeleton is fab, I can see why you held on to it until you found the perfect home for her.
Hope you have a good week

Diana, your website (for some reason) has been flagged by Norton as a dangerous website :-(
Happy 40th wedding anniversary for last week! I’m glad your Yorkies came out well for your special meal. I love your card and dressed up skelly!
Bella keeps asking for the sunshine door but it’s disappeared. She sends purrs to Mittsy and Inky
Have a good week
Hugs
