WOYWW #640

Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html. Maybe you could join our little group!

Hello everyone! Finally made it on a Wednesday! My computer decided to play nice today.

Here is my desk this morning. I had just finished my Mini Art Journal that I made in a workshop with Marjie Kemper, and it was such a mess I decided a good clean-up was in store...

so this is just a start!

Here is the Art Journal I made in the Workshop:

Sue Renshaw also did this workshop! I have since joined the year long group, so I will have some method to my madness from here on in!

The cats are both outside on this rainy day, Inky just watching the world go by on her cushioned chair on the covered porch, and Mittsy wondering what's going on inside the house. She didn't want to come in though!

So that's it for me today, the kitties say "meow", and I say have a great week!

Oooh Linda, those colours have got me swooning! Just gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous... I love your art journal that you did on the course. So beautiful! Funnily enough, the stamp on the RH side on the 5th photo down with all the diamonds with different patterns in them is one that I have just remembered that I have got! I bought it absolutely years ago and can't remember when I last used it. Now I've begun sorting my stamps and getting a new system going, I'm finding ones I've forgotten I'd got.

Nice to see the kitties. Lily often sits outside the door looking in like Mittsy, but if you open the door, she runs off - the only thing that will get her in is tea time or bribery with biccies!

Thank you for your comment, and for your good wishes for my treatment. I'm glad it's only 5 sessions but I've been warned the after-effects could be pretty unpleaant... I've decided that all cancer treatments make you ill!! So glad you enjoyed seeing my various machines. I used to have a square multi-cooker many years ago in the kitchen, before I got a microwave. I use the current one in the studio for melting Friendly Plastic pellets.

I'm glad you liked the DVD tiles. I'm keen to do some more now that I know they turn out so well. I wasn't sure if the multi-cooker would get hot enough but it worked a treat.

Lily loves snuggling up with my hubby but she never does it with me. She is content to lie on my legs when I've got my feet up on the recliner. She is definitely my hubby's baby. She usually hates it when he's reading, like Inky! They hate anything to get between them and you and will often sit right in the middle of something you are trying to do!

My hubby's idea of how to respond to an unsolicited caller has caused quite a bit of amusement this week! One has to be creative with these people. Some people have a very loud whistle handy, and give their eardrums a real blasting which is a sure way of putting them off!

Happy WOYWW,

Oh my word, fab fab blending and colour ways..can’t take my eyes off it all! Wow. You won’t let too much method in on the madness will you, I feel it’s one of your super powers! Also, in line with a little teeny tiny bit of madness, I see grey in your white scraps box. Just me?!!!! 😳🤣

Love your version of the mini journal - isn't it amazing how different they all are? I was very tempted to join Marjie's monthly thing but I have already signed up for another year of Wanderlust and don't think I can do everything! Thanks for your visits to mine - see you next week!

Oh heck, I knew i should have joined Marje's latest workshop. Trouble is she does the same colouring technique all the time and then she has the 'best' stamps and I never have ones that I feel match up to hers (not that they need to but I love some of them). I did write and ask her if she was going to show how to bind the journal as well but the answer came back "No". If she had done I would have joined in.
It's a lovely journal though and the colours are so striking. Good luck with the rest of her course - show us what you do please.

I love that little journal you made, gorgeous! You mention "clean-up" and I bow my head, I should have done a proper clean-up and declutter session weeks ago and I keep on postponing it... I might start this weekend ('might'...) Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day, enjoy your weekend lovely one. Hug from Holland, Marit #2
