WOYWW #631

Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html. Maybe you could join our little group!

I almost didn't post today. It's a very dreary day, and I don't know where the week has gone. I think I've been in my craft room once. We did get our 2nd jabs, with little or no side effects, maybe a little tiredness and soreness. But on the 13th we are free and clear, and on the 14th we are going to see our Granddaughter! The cats are getting a cat-sitter to stay with them, I hope they like her! Here is my July 1st photo from my office, nice and green, but the spring flowers on the bushes are gone :(

And here is my sad little desk:

Our new Spirea bush is blooming!

And our hibiscus bloomed for the first time ever outdoors! And there's another bud on the way.

I bought the cats a new scratcher because their old one was totally demolished. They haven't used it yet, but hopefully soon. Mittsy has a new bed too, but hasn't used it yet either. Luckily I can return these within 30 days if they are not used.

And that's it for me today. I leave you with a video of Inky trying to catch her tail...we have the perfect bedposts for cat sitting, sometimes we have one cat on each post!

Inky, Mittsy and I hope you all have a safe and happy week,

Love the video Linda - Inky is so funny trying to catch her tail. Enjoy your visit with your daughter and the new grandbaby. Glad there were no major ill effects from the second jab. Meow to Inky and Mittsy. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #6

Your hibiscus looks amazing, Linda! I must try and acquire one - although I've never seen them in garden centres around here - but surely if they survive in Canada, they should survive around here too. Inky's funny chasing her tail! Have fun seeing your granddaughter a week from now! How exciting! xx zsuzsa #22

Hooray for second jabs and getting to visit your Granddaughter! The label on your desk pic made me laugh, only tidy if you really have to, or does that only apply in my house?! Great pics of the cats, the video made me laugh!

Oh how sweet is Inky, our pets do the funniest things don't they. I'm glad i'm not the only one who has seen the week go by in the blink of an eye. The Hibiscus is beautiful, well done on adjusting it to the outdoors. I hope the cats make good use of their new scratchers & bed.

Bet you can't wait to get away for a few days and I'm sure your Grand daughter will be so pleased to see you. The Hibiscus is gorgeous. We have just recently bought one but it's a new style flower and lilac in colour but not sure the flower is as nice as the traditional ones but we'll see. It was sweet watching Inky chasing her tail but I'm wondering what might happen if she catches it and bites herself. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x

How lovely to see a video of Inky, Linda! They are so funny with their tail chasing, aren't they. Neither of our two chase their tails. One of our old cats, Chloe, was Olympic Champion Tail Chaser - you can see her here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwNUPLGtnqo - the first YouTube video I ever made! She often used to do this. I love the idea of your two sitting one on each bed post - they do like to be on a pedestal being adored, don't they!!

You'll get back to your desk in time - it doesn't look nearly as sad as mine was looking till recently!

Thank you for your visit, and for your good wishes for the coming days. I'm glad you like my little hug ring - what a lovely thought, to think of all my WOYWW friends joining in that hug! I am looking forward so much to getting into my newly tidied studio and having some fun with Cindy's new machine and all my recent purchases. I will need to rest a lot to begin with and must resist the temptation to run before I can walk!

Gosh, an outdoor hibiscus, that’s really something. And isn’t it a glorious colour. I’m excited for you now you’ve had your second jabs, it will just be wonderful to have that first grandma cuddle! Nothing wrong with Inky’s balance is there, crikey! It Madame me smile that she seemed to just see her tail from the corner of her eye and think it was something trying to catch her out! As for the new bed and scratcher……it’ll probably be 29 days before they get used….on purpose, to keep you thinking you’ll have to go to the trouble of returning them!!

Aww that video is too cute, I love black cats, I currently have two. Is your other cat black also? The scratching post thingy looks pretty inviting, I hope they like it. Happy WOYWW! Elle #24, EOTC

I laughed at Inky chasing her tail. The seem to never realize it belongs to them.

I always love how you share/document what is on your desk. Poor little butterfly. I also like how you documented the new cat tower. Your double sided cat scratcher is double trouble. At least you have hard wood floors. Those bits of cardboard are hard to get out of carpets. Trust me, I know.

Congrats on being able to visit that new grand baby on the 14th. I know you are excited. Happy WOYWW from #2.

Have so much fun visiting that new Grandbaby! Your cat is a hoot. Who needs TV when pets are so entertaining, especially with that scratcher (although it looks way more than that) LOL! And the hibiscus is amazing - what gorgeous colour and the size of it looks massive.

So very late this week!

PS you desk does not look sad at all!

A great little video of Inky trying to catch her tail, she made me smile and I thought of my dogs when they try to catch their tail and always look so silly when they catch it! Have a great weekend Angela #3

Honestly Linda I don't know where the days and weeks go, though I have managed a little more crafting this week. Cut video, and that hibiscus is stunning! Happy WOYWW (I'm very late), Cindy #23

Had a'little' time ! Oh I wish you a great time visiting with grand daughter. Will be a fun time for you. I am lonesome for my family, but all so busy with summer jobs etc and our weather has been rainy. So I guess I get gloomy .... just need Sunshine Your photos of the flowers are beautiful. My Bailey started using his scratcher post after I dosed it with Catnip. Have fun and ENJOY
