WOYWW #628

Another Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! If you would like to learn more, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html. Maybe you could join our little group!

Hello everyone! I'm so excited, I am going to lunch at a restaurant patio with my Mom today - the first time in at least a year! Hopefully we will get a table, since patios just opened last Friday and everyone wants to go! We have been very lucky lately, only 4 covid cases in our area, so I feel pretty safe, even with only 1 jab.

Well, you are here to see my desk, here it is!

I fixed my mistake from last week (the photo last week was just a computer edit) to spell "pathway" correctly", and made a new page for "J" - Joy!

The stamp is Viva Las Vegas, and the stencil is homemade. Next comes "K", hopefully I will get to it next week.

That's it for me today, I've been going to Physio for my shoulder and my hip, doing the exercises, trying to walk, and generally lazing around watching the birds enjoy the new birdbath.

Father's Day is coming up on Sunday so I will need to make a card for hubby, he is a great father!

My Perennial Garden, small but pretty!

Mittsy and her new friend Loki, just chillin' by the Weeping Willow...
And that's it for today! Inky and Mittsy say "Meow" and I say have a great week!

All the cats seem to be enjoying the weather. The caravan but one, next to us has a cat on a long lead. I like your new birdbath. Happy WOYWW Angela #18

Hi, Linda!
Your garden always looks so pretty, the shade is relaxing.

Take it easy. Enjoy the peacefulness outside.

Is Loki a visitor or a new roommate?

Hope you're feeling better soon.
Stay safe and well.

Happy Wednesday!

I'm enjoying your alphabet series and like how you corrected pathway.

Sorry you have not been well. I hope the physio works well.

LOVE your garden shots. You always have the prettiest garden around. I hope you and your mom had fun at a restaurant, too.

Mittsy's new friend is so cute and so different from both Inky and Mittsy. Happy WOYWW from # 4.

I have to get a couple of Father's Day cards made too Linda. Funny how the Canadian and UK Father's Days coincide but the Mother's Days don't. Hope you managed to get a table and enjoy your meal out. Loving the latest pages. Meow to Inky and Mittsy. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #3

Have a fab lunch with your Mom, it’s the little things like that which make life normal again. Your bird bath made me smile, I sank an old plastic tray into some gravel and get the greatest pleasure watching the sparrows having a water fight in there!

Oh I do hope the patio lunch came off as planned! It will have been lovely, I'm sure. Love seeing your journal pages and what a clever edit. That mis-spell is SO something I would do (wait, make that HAVE DONE) LOL!We have been catch& releasing mice for a week now, releasing them far away from the house, so they don't come back, but perhaps a cat is a better solution....

Catching up on the last few desks!
HAPPY WOYWW, a bit late :D

Hi Linda, a new friend Mittsy, how nice and your perennial garden looks lovely too,
I’ve some of them with few annuals too, but mostly perennial.
Easy care means more crafting I can even grow pansies in the court yard in winter, as it’s a sun trap and so nice but in summer it’s shaded the way the eaves are … my darling dad was a mathematician and figured right angles etc of roofline!
Handy for me! Very blessed. Keep safe pray you did get a table and had a grand old time with mum, you’re clever to fix your missing letter too. Happy crafter! Keep well with shoulder, etc they can be a pain.
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x

So nice that you and your mum were able to get together, Linda. I love your journal pages! The spelling mistake has turned into a very good creative solution which looks great, and a lot more interesting than it would have been otherwise! I often find this with "mistakes" - no such thing actually - just the opportunity for more creativity!

How lovely that Mittsy has got a friend to hang out with! What does Inky think about it, I wonder?

Happy belated WOYWW,

Thank you for your return visit, Linda, and all your good wishes. The MRI went fine, and I'm going back on Thursday for the results. You are right about my mammoth reorganising job - I can't manage to do it every day because I'm so busy at the moment, and a little and often is all I can manage! Last night the HD on my main laptop died so I've had to deal with all that too - it's in for repair now. So funny about your kitties! I expect Inky is jealous of Mittsy having a friend all to herself. Kitties are as bad as children when it comes to friends - best friends one minute, falling out the next, endless jealousies! I've never really understood kitty dynamics, though. They are a law unto themselves, aren't they, choosing a new favourite place one day and you can't get them away from it, and then suddenly abandoning it for another one. The new kitty throw is a firm favourite at the moment, though.
