WOYWW #617

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

The last day of March! It seemed like a long month. Waiting for vaccines...and waiting...I'm very happy for all of you who have been vaccinated! the more the merrier! Someday our turn will come too...

Anyway, here is my desk today, I didn't do a lot this week, just working to get my BUJO ready enough to work in starting tomorrow!

And here is my first week in my BUJO. I have lots of tracker pages to do as well, so I will be busy today!

A funny (now) story. I was working on my BUJO at my downstairs desk, coffee cup to my left, and the cats are chasing each other as they often do in the mornings. Inky jumped up on the desk to get to the hammock, but her right hind leg went straight into my cup of coffee! It was a shock for both of us! Coffee everywhere! Luckily the cup didn't tip over, but coffee on the cat, the window, my BUJO, the table...I quickly dried off Inky's leg, then the window, then ran upstairs with my BUJO to the hair dryer. I had to dry almost every page. The edges of most of the pages had been affected. The worst, of course was the page I was working on, the one above. Luckily I hadn't added the large sticker that covers the left side, so the sticker is covering a big coffee stain, but on the right side you can see some damage covered up by the leaf stamp. Something to remember when I look at my BUJO in the future! I will be more careful with my coffee from now on...

Well, that's it for me today, short and sweet. Both cats are outside frolicking in the rain, they are spending more time outside now that the weather is nicer, but they will get a big shock tomorrow - Snow is predicted!

Happy Easter, don't eat too much chocolate - what am I saying! INDULGE!!!! Have a great week, get you jab if you can, and stay safe! Mittsy and Inky would say "meow" if they were with me, but they are having too much fun.

Oh what a funny happening with the cat and the coffee, some crafters would try for ages to get a good coffee staining on their pieces, I had no idea until I read your blog. BJ#13

It’s a scientific fact that Easter chocolate contains no calories whatsoever, so feel free to dive in, lol!! I’m so pleased that you managed to save your work and Inky wasn’t hurt, bet she had a shock! Fingers crossed that you hear about your jab very soon.

Oh poor damp kitty! Lucky you saved your bujo from spillage. Hope the vaccine call comes soon -it's hard to wait when so much of life returning to somethig at least a little like normal depends on the most shots in arms. Love your tiny "work space" - you need a satellite desk!
Happy WOYWW

Cats and coffee! I have had my fair share of accidents with my fur babies. Nothing serious :). Quick thing on saving your pages. Happy WOYWW and Happy Easter Angela #5

Great projects, just pleased the dogs can't jump like that or I'm sure stan would be knocking everything over as he's so nosy. Have a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x21x

Glad you managed to save your BUJO from the coffee Linda - I bet Inky looks before she leaps next time too. Hope you get vaccine news soon. Stay safe and happy WOYWW> Sarah #9

Yikes! Glad the coffee wasn't too hot and that you saved the layout - I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't said, just thought it was all another layer of art work! Stay safe and keeping smiling, Lisa-Jane #3

Poor Inky, I hope the coffee wasn't too hot. Don't worry, it will just add more texture and layers - some people pour coffee on their pages deliberately - though probably not with milk! Maybe Inky just wants in on the action. I do love those feather stencils on your desk! Happy BUJO-ing and Happy Easter! xx zsuzsa #22

Oh Linda, if I indulge much more, I’m gonna be a solid! The coffee isn’t even visible on the BUJO, I went back to have a look and I just can’t see it at all! Aren’t the cats amazing, such acrobats! I bet it was a shock for Inky, did she shout at you?!! And then the next thing, you’re clearing up and blow drying book pages and she’s outside frolicking again! No different from having a child! So how much longer will it take for your vaccination day to come up? I am willing it to be very soon. Look after yourself, don’t go licking anybody!!

Well they say there are no mistakes in art..... sounds like total coffee disaster was averted. Phew!! Amazing it went so far WITHOUT the cup falling over!! I am having an indulgent weekend then back on the eating healthy plan - would still like to feel a bit more comfortable in my wedding outfit and now there's only 6 weeks to go. Hope you get your vaccine soon! Happy Easster, stay well, stay safe, love n hugs Cindy #23

Enjoyed the story of the cat and the coffee. Would have made a nice brown stain in your bujo.
Sorry I am late visiting.
Happy WOYWW and happy Easter!

Oh my goodness, Linda, what an adventure you had with Inky and the coffee! Hope she didn't scald her little foot! I managed to spill coffee on the cover of my Zentangle samples book which is now permanently stained - I was very cross with myself at the time. Your journal pages look lovely.

Thank you for your visit which I am glad you enjoyed. My hubby has been out today and yesterday, so I have tried to do the minimum of other stuff that needs doing, and really knuckled down to working on the cat throw. I am busy embroidering eyes, noses and mouths on a whole pile of faces and I must say it's beginning to get a bit repetitive now! At least I've had a clear run while he's out. I prefer crocheting to this rather chunky embroidery.

Yes, there's a cat hammock on the radiator. They don't use it! They did their first winter. Trouble is, a) they like our warm laps better, b) they like our new furniture better and c) they can't use it because my hubby keeps using it to dump his stuff in! Glad you enjoyed your curry. We love it and have it at least once a week, which is why I like to make large quantities for the freezer.

Happy belated WOYWW,
