WOYWW #606

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings to all my fellow Deskers! I hope today finds you well and happy, and feeling creative! I know many of you are in lockdown, as am I, and we can consider ourselves lucky that we have creative desks to go to - many do not.

I currently have 2 desks, as I know some of you do as well. Here is the one in the freezing cold room that isn't getting a lot of love lately:

Here is desk #2, much warmer! This usually has my Bullet Journal on it. The sunshine is actually through the clouds...it's a cold day.
yes, the photos were taken yesterday...

I did make my tag for this week for my 52 week tag challenge: "A heart, any colour, anywhere on the tag"

That's about it for upstairs, I made a few more tracker pages in my Bullet Journal:

Books I always have 2 going, one is on my Kindle, and one, a real book, in the tub. At the moment I'm reading Wildswept - a Viking story, and Ken Follet's The Morning and the Evening, taking place shortly after my Viking book, in England

Gift Cards: I get a lot of Gift Cards for Christmas and Birthday, and then forget to use them, so I'm hoping this will help! These are from this year and the last few years...as you can see, Michael's Gift Card (local craft store) is almost gone!

Activity Log: And DD wants me to go for a "walk" with her everyday even though she's about 268km (166.5 miles) away! So I made a tracker for that as well! On no-walk days she's going to dance...

And that's it for this week. I hardly see Mittsy as she sleeps all day, and Inky is in the photo in the hammock. Mittsy comes alive around 10:30pm when we spend about 30 minutes tiring her out for the night!

Have a great week, stay safe!

h that tag is so subtle and lovely! Really really yummy. And your bullet journal is really coming along too. It will sound weird but the Seventeen magazine YouTube channel has some lovely easy bujo art tutorials - my daughter watches them for fun, but you might find some page tips for your journal!

Happy WOYWW, with a late start

Hi, Linda!
I love looking at your journals....mine are still empty!

Yes, I think we are lucky that we have a desk, or spot to go to that makes us happy. I cannot imagine not having that in my life. Once again, or I really should say still, I am trying to tidy and clean, even purge a few things if I have finally realized it just isn't going to happen in my lifetime!

I did a bit of die cutting, some even for valentines, although I have a birthday and anniversary coming prior to that. And I did manage an all white Christmas card for one of the groups.

Stay safe and well
Happy Wednesday

Kathryn

Gorgeous tag, I love all the details! I’m so glad you’re not freezing in the first craft room, the second is much more comfortable. We don’t have heating at the moment so thank goodness for the wood burner!

Hi Linda. That's a great tag. Well done. I confess my "desks" are spread throughout the house depending on what I am doing - landing for art and cards; bedroom for the cross stitch; lounge for the knitting and jigsaws...
I often have a couple of books on the go as well - I'm currently laughing uproariously at bedtime at "The hundred year old man who climbed out of the window and disappeared" by Jonas Jonasson - it's brilliant. For serious moments I have started, but not got far yet, on "The herb of grace" by Elizabeth Gouge - I haven't read it for years, but it certainly takes a bit more reading!
Enjoy your gift cards. And enjoy your walk! My younger daughter announced the other day she is attempting to walk the equivalent of the trip from John O Groats to Lands End (880 miles) before her daughter's wedding in September!!!
Have a good week. Take care. God bless.

Busy lady and I can relate to the two craft spaces though I have spent some time in my cabin too though it does have some heating in it so it's not too cold. Loving the tag that is a lot of tags you plan to make. Take care and have a lovely creative week, Angela x23x

Linda, love your tag. It has a vintage vibe to it!! I used to have two desks as well, but I really couldn't take the change of elements with my one, so just moved everything inside!! Not as much room, but hey for comfort....I adjusted! LOL I love to read as well, and have sooooo many started and none finished. I need a change of scenery from time to time, so I will change to another book and then go back! LOL Crazy, I know, but there you go! Hope you are staying safe and healthy! Blessings, Felicia #33

The tag is fantastic and I love the trackers - I love the idea about 'bath tub' books... I may have to borrow that one, not that I have time to stay in a bath for long sadly. Happy Belated WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless. Caro x (#13)

Lots of lovely projects this week, Linda. I love the tag and the bullet journal. Inky is invisible in her hammock! Our two are sleeping a lot at the moment, too.

Happy belated WOYWW,

You make me smile with 'a cold and a hot room' :) and I love your pages. I don't 'bullet-journal' myself but always love to see those track-lists people keep in there. A walk-track-list could be something I do as I need to build up strength after my surgery, so I try to walk at least half an hour every day. Sorry for being late with my visit this week (the deskers-list is long and I visit a few per day) Have a great weekend, stay healthy and safe! Love from the Netherlands, Marit #31

Thanks for your return visit, Linda - I read your bit about the kitties and the door to my hubby and we both laughed aloud! Nice to know (I think?) that kitties are just as bad in Canada as they are in the UK! Mittsy obviously has a sense of humour, but sometimes one just doesn't have the time for joking around, especially if it's an urgent trip to the bathroom haha! Hugs to you and your kitties from me and mine! Glad you liked my rainbow jumper. My thoughts exactly about the Vitamix - I knew I was supposed to have the better one in the end!

Sorry I’m so late! Loving the journal and the things you track, I wouldn’t have thought of that! I might very well propose a daily ‘walk’ to my daughter, it would be a nice way to take my exercise and see that she keeps her promise to me of getting fresh air!! She doesn’t, whenever I mention it, I just get ‘yes mama’, and you know that means ‘ignoring you mama’!! There’s no pleasure in trying to sit in a cold room and do anything, so you’re absolutely right to choose the other desk. By the time the weather warms, you’ll be raring to go again and that lovely clear grid mat will be a thing of the past!

yes, sorry I'm late too! The journal looks fun but I think the tag is fabulous, so simple but so crafty! I cut most of my scraps into tags, ready to be made into more tags, I should get started!
Happy WOYWW!? Stay Safe Keep Crafting! ((Lyn))#21
