WOYWW #572

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

 Happy Anniversary everyone!

I haven't been here since the beginning, but I have been posting a long time now!

Here is my desk this morning: Working on my new journal, and starting my daughter's birthday card.
I keep thinking that I want to start my own You Tube channel, even if no watches it. I have been so inspired by other you tube channels - it can't be that hard, right?

We were challenged to finish a UFO for today. I started with one idea then started doing something else. Beside my bed I have a little set of 3 drawers. The top drawer was FULL of collage sheets I had printed out over the years, with the intention of cutting them all up while watching TV. Well, that didn't happen. Now that I am using collage sheets more, I decided to finish cutting up the sheets in the drawer. It was literally filled to the top.

I put the tiny pieces in individual bags sorted by theme,
And the larger pieces in bags sorted by colour (with small bags inside for more tiny pieces)

It is now much easier to find things I want to use! It did take a long time, and my cutting muscles did start to hurt...poor me!
So I am very glad I got that UFO project done! I look forward to seeing what everyone else did!

We finally have nice weather, it was a very long time coming!

Look how big Mittsy is!

And here's Inky, resorting to sitting in a pot because we are sitting in the chairs...

I hope everyone is well, or recovering if not feeling well, hopefully things will get back to some kind of normal soon. Have a great week, stay safe! Happy Anniversary!

Look at you all organised thats a great UFO to have sorted whilst cutting in front of the TV, it's a great place to be whilst fussy cutting. You have lots to keep you occupied now or should I say easier to find.. Mittsy is indeed looking all grown up, I did smile at inky in the pot :))
Here's raising a glass to you Linda, Happy 11th WoywW Anniversary!!

Hi Linda, great job with the sorting, sometimes the biggest UFO we have is stash organising! It's not too hard to do a You Tube channel, I started mine, it only has a few videos at the moment, I need to do some more soon, I think. We too have some lovely weather at the moment, Inky & Mitsy look to be enjoying the outdoors. Have a lovely week, Stay safe, Hugs, Shaz #12 XxxX

Oh I love how Inky is looking a tad annoyed that all that is left to sit in is a big pot! Two beautiful cats.
Well you certainly set yourself a task cutting that lot up. Guess it will make life a lot easier now though and you will be able to find things much quicker when you want a certain something,
Go and get yourself on video and do a You Tube - I did one years ago but have not been doing much on it - always intending to do more but once I do one I am happy with what I have done (and critical of my nails and things) but I never show my face.
Happy Anniversary
hugs, Neet 5 xx

Always fancied doing a Youtube video but wouldn't know where to start but guess there must be something on-line to tell you. Loving the UFO assortment, well done and as for the cats well they just make me smile. Thanks for all your kind comments and wishing you a very happy woyww 11th Anniversary. Big hugs, Angela x17x

Do it! I have a YouTube channel and have a small amount of subscribers, but it is so fun. You know it helps too when I forgot how to do something and then I remember that I had a video so I watch it. LOL. Check it out under my name, Dorlene Durham. You’ll laugh at how nonprofessional it is, but I have fun. Happy 11 year anniversary to you - oh and by the way, love your organization tips. I have mine organized, but it can be spruced up for sure. Dorlene #41

Happy 11th anniversary, Linda. I always love seeing your desk and this never disappoints. You took on a massive project, too. I am totally impressed because that was really a HUGE undertaking.

Loved seeing both Inky and Mittsy. I actually felt sorry for poor Inky. Happy WOYWW from #6.

Now that is a lovely UFO you finished there (but I can almost FEEL the pain from cutting - it's a lot of images to cut out!) It all looks so nice in those bags, you will use those much easier (and more) I think. Happy anniversary dear one, stay healty safe! Big hug from Holland. Marit #32

Happy belated anniversary.... time goes by far too quickly for my liking. Well done for recognising the Donna Downey journal. I enjoyed her workshop and like her art but it just wasn't me!! Such a good idea to sort out all your collage pieces by theme. Makes it so much easier to find the right image to match your collage theme. Please do start a you tube channel it is always fun to actually see another creative's process. Recently started watching Caterina Giglio on youtube an amazing collage artist. (May have spelt her name incorrectly). Stay safe and pat those kitties for me.

When I saw your glass of wine I had to go get myself one too! Well, it's 20:30 so it's allowed! You did a great job sorting you collage pieces - they will be easier to find now. I'm terrible at keeping things tidy. Mitsy and Inky look cute - it's good Mitsy got some white bits so you can tell them apart! Happy anniversary - enjoy your weekend! zsuzsa #30

An excellent UFO completed, Linda! You and I both embarked on fussy cutting for this challenge! I think your idea for organising your collage pieces is an excellent one - I am generating quite a few die cuts and they are going in ATC pockets but if I'm not very careful they tend to fall out, so I think I'll adopt your idea! Your desk is a glorious turmoil this week - so much fun to be had there. Lovely to see your 2 kitties, and yes, Mittsy is a big girl now, isn't she! As for Inky in the pot, it reminds me of our old Beatrice who really enjoyed "hot tubbing" in an empty stone pot! I've got some sweet photos of her.

Thank you for your visit and for your suggestion about sending the UFOs to charity shops. I do a lot of unravelling of knitting and recycle the yarns myself. Just getting all my UFOs out to photograph them has sparked something and inspired me to finish at least some of them - I have brought stuff down to the sitting room to add to the chaos so that I can work on them at my leisure. I shall be giving progress reports as time goes on!

Happy belated 11th anniversary WOYWW,

I’m sorry to be so late. Doesn’t remove from my open mouthed admiration at your completed UFO! wow! Talk about taking on a challenge! I hope you’re very pleased with yourself, I know I would be! Of course now the trick is to stop admiring the storage and organisation and start using it all........that phrase pops into my head quite a lot after I’ve had a sort out or triumphed over a UFO....it’s something my husband used to say each time I hit upon a new way to store or organise the stuff!! He doesn’t say it so much now., can’t imagine why!! Thanks for doing WOYWW, wouldn’t be the same without you!
