WOYWW,#549

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone! Finally made it again, though very late. It is all because of working Tuesday and having early chiro on Wednesday. Oh well! Today will be very short and sweet, just how Julia likes it!

I have not visited my desk once this week, so it looks exactly the same as last week. What I have done though, is turned this:

into this!

I have the stamps I still need to work on here-still a lot of work to be done!

And finally, Inky sitting on the bannister - Aaaaakkkk!!!! Not a care in the world, except for the huge drop down the stairs just beside her! Apparently only I am aware of that danger!

We are just starting to get ready for Christmas, the tree is half decorated, as is the rest of the house. So far Mittsy has been a good girl and not climbed the tree or knocked off any ornaments!

Hope everyone is well and happy, and that you all have a wonderful week! Meows from Mittsy and Inky!

Wow, that's quite a transformation! I bet the kitties are delighted to get the couch back. Oreo used to sit on the banister as well, driving me crazy, but thankfully he's given up on it now - I wonder if he almost fell once as there are some scratch marks on it, so hopefully he's learned his lesson! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #19

Hi Linda. Wow! That's a huge change - well done. So your cat hasn't climbed into the tree yet???My daughter sent a photo through of one of her kittens sitting in the tree - followed rapidly by a second photo... the tree horizontal - having been pulled over by said kittens! The tree is now attached by cord to the ceiling!!!
Take care. God bless.

Cor, Linda, it’s like you’ve uncovered a secret room! well done you, the problem of finding somewhere else to put it all hasn’t put a you off at all, I like it - and what a lovey room you’ve revealed, however temporarily! inky takes my breath away, heights make me fall, so I think she’s amazing! I wonder why it’s comfortable to just sit on a narrow bannister like that anyway?!!

What a transformation! How long did all that take you?
I am sure Inky will be fine, cats have nine lives remember and I am sure any landing will be done gracefully and with agility that only cats have.
Hugs, Neet 16 xx (you called me Helen in the comment on my page but you did talk about my desk so it was just a mere slip of the fingers. LOL xx

Hi Linda, great job on the sorting, still working on mine! Inky being a typical cat and having no concern how far up he is. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #3 X

Wow, Linda, that's some transformation! I have also been doing a bit of tidying in my studio this week... I love your pretty stamp boxes. As for Inky - she needs her paw holding!! I'd be terrified if our kitties did that! Thank you for your visit and I'm sorry to be so long replying - as you can imagine it's been a really busy week, and since Saturday I've had to rest in order to recover. Now there's a lot of catching up to do. Hopefully I'll get a blog post up tomorrow with all the news. I agree with what you say about hand-done stuff. Things in the old days were very much more ornate and complex than today - not just clothes but buildings and other things too. With all our modern technology, I'm afraid it's cost that underlines everything, and what we produce today is rubbish quality in comparison with things made years ago. Such a shame! It's up to us creative folks to keep producing decent hand-made stuff, isn't it!

Happy belated WOYWW,
