WOYWW #542

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone. I have been so busy this month - they have me working days which makes writing this post very difficult, I'm too tired (and so I forget!) on Tuesday night, and then don't have the time Wednesday morning. So I did miss last week. I do have today off though, so here I am!

I did take a photo of my desk this morning, but I can't find it on my i-cloud photos. Why can't they make things easier to find? I also have a photo of the card I made for our 35th wedding anniversary, but it hasn't shown up either. So I will start with my work costumes.

We have a big University in my city of Kingston, called Queen's University. Every year they have Homecoming, and as it was homecoming, I thought I would dress as the Queen's student I used to be 40 years ago! (Graduated in '79!)

This one is the Crazy Cat Lady. My shirt says "Mother of Cats" I have Inky on my shoulder and Mittsy at my side, along with a few more cats! I am wearing cat pajamas, and did not brush my hair, just popped it into a kind of bun, and put horrible make up on.

Scarecrow! This one I thought was very good, and got lots of compliments!

A witch, kind of like the ones in the movie Hocus Pocus

The Mayor of Halloween Town...

A leopard...

And I am getting better at the make up! Again I was Disco Cat, but with better make up this time!

Well, I finally found my desk photo, not much to see, but I at least got to it once this week, to make an Anniversary card for Hubby!

Well, I didn't actually make the entire card, I had so little time that I bought a card that had a lot of empty space on the front, and the perfect words inside, and added my own to the front!

I added the birds, the branch, the heart and the numbers! It worked out well!

As we are nearing the end of October, I am hoping to have more time to spend in my craft room, and therefore with you! I wish all of you a wonderful week,

What a fun place you work at if everyone dresses up like that. I would find it hard to find a favourite as I like them all. What i want to know is do you travel to work dressed ready or do it at work - and if so do you travel home like that?
What a good idea to choose a card with not much on the front to decorate yourself - great idea!
Hope life settles down a bit soon.
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

Sorry I’m late! Love those outfits Linda, how great that you immerse yourself in it all. And a real homecoming..I only found out what it meant earlier this month! Congrats on your anniversary, you did a great job on the card. Hybrid card making...a whole new genre!!
