WOYWW #521

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello to all my fellow deskers! I hope you are having warmer days than we are - we are having a very cold spring this year! My crab-apple tree isn't even blooming yet, I think it will still take a couple of days. Lots of rain though!

Anyway, here is my desk this morning. I haven't done much this week, but I DID find my junk journal! Yay! And yes, I found it when I stopped looking for it...it made me SO HAPPY and relieved!

I also purchased a 3 tier storage from Amazon that fits my Sprays perfectly!

It will also hold craft paint.

And here is my new Washi Tape box, worked perfectly, from the Dollar Store, so I went to get more, and of course they were all gone. More searching! I will need at least two more.

And I found this awesome box of tiny wooden letters and butterflies from the Dollar Store!

So, how did I find my lost journal? As I said I would do, I started a new journal page in my Donna Downey journal that I hadn't worked in in ages:

I was looking through one of my Somerset magazines (Jan 2010) and found this beautiful egg art from Pam Carriker so I used it as the focal point. I also used some of the paper from the middle of the magazine as my background paper. The quote in the middle insert says (TH):

So when I was putting the washi tape back into the drawer...I saw the junk journal I had lost, tucked right beside the box. Mind you, not when I went to get the washi tape...LOL! And how often had I been in that box over the past week? Sheesh...

Garden

Oh we have to have some garden pics right? It's spring after all! Monday was the warmest and sunniest day this week, perfect for our first BBQ of the season, and there's Mittsy!

Here is what survived the winter, I think I only lost my poppies and my daisies. Everything looks so small, everything is late this year

And here is my new (replacement) birdbath, as last year's broke. I need to plant some flowers around it now.

Here's Mittsy sleeping on my legs, she woke up when I clicked the camera! She looks huge...

but she's really still little!

Well, that's it for me today, I hope everyone has a wonderful week, Mittsy and Inky send their "meows"!

PS: my new You Tube favourite is Bohemian Crafter - lots of great ideas for journals, booklets, pockets and more!

Hi Linda, oh I love that storage. I now have to go have a look on Amazon, lol. So happy for you finding the journal, but isn't it always the way? You find something where you KNOW you looked? I have a box of those wooden letters too, just waiting till I have a project for them. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X

That three tier storage is just what I have been looking for and failing to find - if you have the details I would be so grateful if you could share them. Love your journal and so pleased you found the missing one. Happy WOYWW! Love & God Bless, Caro x (#15)

The first thing I saw on your desk was the washi tapes, then that you had found your junk journal. I love how you have stored your washi tapes. Mine sit haphazardly in a drawer. I also like how you stored your wooden letters and such. That was a super great find, too. And that tiered spray storage is genius. Mine are haphazardly stored in a basket. You have really found the perfect storage spaces, Linda.

Bleubeard and Squiggles meow back to Mittsy and Inky, too. Happy WOYWW from #1.

So glad you've found your junk journal, Linda! It would have been a shame to lose it. Once you convinced yourself it was missing, your eyes didn't see it - it's a psychological phenomenon! Great storage solutions and lovely photos of Mitsy! Enjoy your week! zsuzsa #23

YAY to finding the junk journal.. isn't it always the way you find things as soon as you stop looking. I had to go through my stencils twice to find the one I wanted... turned every single one over. checking each one. Nope, wasn't there. Moaned about it to some friends on Messenger... checked again. yep, there it was! Have a great week. Helen #3

I think we all relate to you finding the lost journal when you'd given up looking for it, lol! I'm glad I turned up eventually as it's really good. Your new storage is rather fancy too, I like the way the washi tapes are all neat and tidy. The crab apple tress are hanging with blossom in the area around me, they're so beautiful in the hedgerows - everything is verdant and so green. My fav time of year!

Hi Linda, so pleased your journal turned up. That's great news! Love the storage ideas, I'll check out Amazon! I have two sets of those letters, they were on special offer, only used a couple of the letters yet though. We had our first BBQ last month, but it was still a bit chilly. We have a big family BBQ planned for August, so need to get the garden ready for that. Have a lovely week Heather x #11

Hi Linda, you made me smile when you said you found your journal when you stopped looking for it.......sounds familiar! Desk looks busy and great new storage too. Brilliant photo of Mittsy, makes her look quite chubby though obviously she's not. Have a lovely crafty week and a happy woyww, Angela x17x

Meows back to Inky and Mittsy first of all.
So glad your journal turned up, I have lost my favourite Bee stamp and went for a replacement and they are all sold out|!!! Talk about disappointed! Hope it turns up like your journal did.
Love your new storage, see, the same happened to me with my bee stamp - lost one, knew there was one at the local shop as I had seen it on the Saturday, went on Monday and it had gone. Just like your Washi Tape box.
Have a good week despite the weather.
