WOYWW #517

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

First, a BIG thank you to all who commented last week on my blog. I wasn't able to get back to you due to all sorts of things (the week from H---) one being that my computer crashed last week...but it's up and working now, thankfully. My back is still very sore - what I was hoping to be a 2 week leave from work has turned into a 4-6 week leave. I spend a lot of time with a heating pad on my back. I did, however, discover this week that I can watch You Tube on my Roku - wow! Why didn't anyone tell me this? So to get my mojo going again I've been watching crafting videos, which did get me back into my craft room yesterday for a little while. So here's my desk this week:

 Added some colour
(I used "Smoosh" - anyone ever heard of it? My DH gave some to me several years ago. Iridescent!)

Decided to use the mop up tag as the next page

And now for a housekeeping tip!

How to change the sheets on a bed. . .

Mittsy's favourite day is "change the sheets day"!

Happy May to everyone, hopefully next week will be better and I can get back to all who comment on my post, and hopefully more! Mittsy and Inky wish you all a happy week, and so do I,

Hello - so nice to pop in and see you again after such a long break on my part. Sorry about your back - I too live daily with back pain and problems due to my Scoliosis so can empathise. Take care Zo xx 25

I did laugh at Mittsy being so helpful with the beds Linda. So sorry that your back is still not right. My husband is in the same boat and funnily enough is doing a lot of YouTube watching on the Roku box. Spooky coincidence! Love the colours on that page although I haven't come across Smooch. Happy WOYWW and meow to Inky and Mittsy. Sarah #2

Hope your back recovers very soon. Meanwhile, the idea of changing sheets on the bed with help from the cats made me laugh. Been there, done that. Great fun. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #5

Love your journal pages! Funny how a heating pad can become your best friend! I should name them...
Thanks for the bed making tutorial! So fun when they are young, playful and full of energy. Ours just lay in wait for our laps when we finally sit down in the evening. And then they "hunker down" as long as watch the television.
Have a happy week without pain!

I can relate to that bad back - I have been in constant pain for almost five months now. Just be careful with the heat - I burnt my back with the hot water bottle and I think it is probably scarred for life now. Only 16 days to wait now to see the doctor for the results of my spinal x-ray.
Do I remember Smoosh - yes, got a couple of them - think one is green and the other a burnt orange. They were like nail varnish bottles if memory serves me right. I think the demo at CHA (years ago so forgive me if I have it wrong) showed us dropping some onto water and then dipping card into it resulting in a marble effect. Worth a try anyhow. Love your journal page!
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
Happy May back to you and the cats (and thanks for the bed making smile)

Hi Linda, I love watching You Tube videos on my tablet, as you say it's a great way to get inspired. Laughing at the bedding change! Love the stamped piece. Never heard of Smooch, but the comment about it being iridescent has made me wonder if Twinkling H2O's could be used in the same way? Something I can try out, lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 X
