WOYWW #514

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings all! Here we are again to look at each other's desks. Well finally mine has had some action!

Here is my desk this morning, I had finished my SIL's birthday card:

Here it was yesterday in the midst of making it:

I can't show the card until next week, but it was a fun one!

I've been working a lot-so much for "part-time"! It feels like full time when I'm working 6 days in a row! Anyway, I will have Easter weekend off, so it will be worthwhile.

I did do something with the feather stencil from last week:

I will probably do another one! This is in my junk journal.

My friend and I will be visiting our local stamp store tomorrow to spend my $100 GC from Christmas. I'm excited! I will be sure to show you all what I purchased.

Mittsy & Inky:

Mittsy got outside last night, in the dark, when I came home from work. Zoom! Out she went and I almost panicked! I got my phone flashlight on, and she came right to the light so I was able to pick her up. Scary!

Inky is going to the vet today for a vaccination. Not fun for her but it will be quick.

They both say "meow, have a great week!" as do I!

Hi Linda, I understand what it's like having a black animal as Stan is completely black so we got him a fluorescent collar as I just couldn't find him in the garden and he often goes walk about for ages at night. Thank goodness he can't get out. Loving the journal page, gorgeous colour combo. Happy creative woyww, Angela x16x

Hi Linda. Great that you are doing all sorts. Hope your sister in law likes her card - and glad the little cat came back safely.
Take care. God bless.

I spy a dragon and you can't go wrong with them (in my opinion, lol!). I'll look forward to seeing the completed card after your SiL has received it! I'm glad that Mittsy didn't get too far in the dark, phew!

Loving the stenciled feathers. Poor Inky getting her injections, but it keeps them safe - Oreo is more bothered by the journey to the vets than the actual injection. We used to have a vet that came to our house, but when we moved I couldn't find anyone around here, but at least we don't have to go far. Naughty Mitsy for getting out - lucky you managed to capture her. Oreo doesn't seem very interested in going out any more - I don't know if he's had a bad experience or if he's just lazy. Fine with me - less to worry about! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #21

Love the stencilled feathers Linda, especially the colour combination. I feel a pun about dragons coming on with the birthday card, look forward to seeing the finished card when it can be revealed. Happy WOYWW and meow to Inky and Mittsy. Sarah #4

Can just imagine the panic you went through when Mittsy went out. Phew - how wonderful to find her coming towards you with your light.
Look forward to seeing the card when it is finished - is the dragon a clue?
Love the flower - the colours are gorgeous, reminds me of rust and patina.

That's a fab feather stencil, I can see what the appeal was. Hope you get some creative time soon, maybe during your Easter break? You'll have plenty new stuff to play with after that $100 spend up.. enjoy I know you will ;)

I love the feather stencil, Linda. I am sure the card for your sister in law will be lovely too! It's a real worry when the kitties rush out, isn't it. We've had issues with Ruby getting right out of the garden, but since my hubby made the defences more secure, she seems content enough to stay in the garden now. We aren't letting them out unless my hubby is at home, just in case. Lily is apt to dash past us and make a beeline for the catflap! Thank you for your visit, and I was amused about your countdown system for making up their minds "in or out"!! As soon as you decide, they want the opposite. Glad you like the slippers. I'm working on the project slowly. Still spending a lot of time on the new blog and am having major problems logging on but the web host helpline is helping me, and hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Happy belated WOYWW,
