WOYWW #483

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello all! I have taken the advice from a few deskers and written this on Tuesday, since I will be giving my art journal page workshop tomorrow morning! But I can tell you, that my desk will not look any different than this on Wednesday morning:

I bought a couple of things with my Michael's 55% off coupon (of course the things I went in to get with the coupon were already on sale. . .), so I got this 7-G rub on set - it is printed on tissue paper (I've never seen this before) and I got a surprise inside!

sayings to cut up and use!

I also bought myself a new Tim Holtz pad of paper.

That's it for art today. I took a couple of pics of the garden on Sept 1 (you can see one in my journal on the desk) just to see the difference in seasons. The Perennial garden is looking a bit sad, but I love all the purple! I think I will plant some more phlox next year.

My birdbath has been raised a bit to pull it out of the jungle of nasturtiums, and looks better now.

And here is Inky, patiently waiting for me to take my pictures so we can go inside for morning treats!

That's it for me today, Inky says "Meow" and I say "have a great week!"

Afternoon Linda. Goodness - what a treat - all those sayings in there... you can really have a load of fun with them over the next little while - especially as you so love journaling. Your garden is still looking good - soon be autumn, though, and things will slow down.
Take care. God bless.

I always pre-write and schedule my blog, I find it much easier and Tuesday's desk looks just the same as Wednesday's, just like yours! I love that page of sayings, bet you'll get a lot of use out of that!

Glad you decided to pre-do your post - it works great for me!! then once I've linked (it helps being on the same timezone) I can get round some early desks before work and the rest now, whilst I'm waiting for dinner to cook.. I'd never make it if I wrote the post on a Weds morning!! Loving your Timmy paper. Helen #1

Hi Linda! Loved the tour of your desk - and your little messages "put the lid on the glue" LOL! Hope your class went well. Inky could be Oreo's blue-eyed cousin! Have fun this week! zsuzsa #21

I am impressed at your organisation I rarely get to post before teatime and this is the first week in ages I have actually visited desks on a Wednesday. Inky looks a bit cross with the delay! #35

Hi Linda, I've already forewarned my sister that I "need" to visit Michaels when we visit her at the end of the month. It works out well - I take a stash of Galaxy chocolate for her, which frees up some weight allowance for crafty supplies to bring home! I wonder if they will still have that 7G set when I visit! Looks good! Have a lovely week Heather x #12

That's some great new stuff to play with, Linda! It looks very interesting. I had to smile at your annotated photo this week - it's all too easy to leave the lid off the glue when you're in the creative zone, isn't it! I've done it many times... Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm glad you enjoyed my bread and chutney, if only vicariously! Ruby has taken to hinding under a cabinet on the landing, and I think that must have been where she was the other night when we lost her. I saw her there last night - her tail was sticking out! They do have this way of looking at you, don't they - as if it's your fault that you've been beside yourself with worry over them! Sweet pics of Inky this week too - she looks such a lovely kitty. My leg is a bit better this a.m. - now had 3 doses of my anticoagulant so it must be starting to work, and I also decided to put on one of the pressure stockings I got at the hospital when I was in for surgery and that makes it feel more comfortable. I'm sure I'll be fine in a day or two.

Happy belated WOYWW,

I tried to get here sooner, but my hand has been even worse today than when it first happened. I SO love it when you share the contents of your desk. THose words are going to go a long way in your art, too. Your garden looks sooooooooooo good, as does the birdbath. Bleubeard gives a happy meow to Inky, too. Happy belated WOYWW from # 5.

Happy Belated WOYWW. I need to get some new plants for my pots in the garden. The flowers have mostly died away and it all looks quite scruffy. A reminder that autumn is coming. Love those sheets of sayings - so useful. Ali x #19

I do love that outside area, I need one just like this.
Hope all went well at the workshop? It does make sense to write up on Tuesday if the next day is not free, I do this too occasionally.
Great bargains from Michael's I would be what we call *Skint* if we had a store here in the UK hee hee..
Have a smashing weekend & hugs to Inky Tracey #6
