WOYWW #476

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings all! We are back in a heat wave again, although today is very nice so far. No rain in our near future. . .

Here is my desk this morning - back to normal chaos!

I am working on my junk journal, preparing all the pages with whatever is lying around.
Here are some of those pages:

and here is the Birthday Card for my hubby (63 on Thursday!) So hard to believe we met when we were in our 20's!

I again used one of my gelli prints for the background. I need to make more of these!

As I mentioned, it has been VERY hot, and the squirrels are really feeling the heat. I've never seen them do this before, this little guy was on the fence like this for quite awhile,
and this one didn't move even when a big noisy truck drove by. . .

and all with Inky standing by watching!

Inky says "meow" and I say I hope you all have a wonderful week, and thanks for visiting!

Hi Linda, I do love to see squirrels! We have them visit our garden, this morning one was on the fence, and clearly annoyed by something. His tail was waving like a windmill, and he was screeching at something, very noisily!Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 XxX

Poor hot squirrel! we have loads here, too but they have been moving a bit faster than your one, despite our own very high temperatures. Love the junk journal. Helen #1

I always enjoy reading the captions you add to your creative workspace area. Hope you and Inky are staying cool in this dreadful heat wave. Happy WOYWW and Blessings!

Hi Linda, I'm glad to say that it has cooled down a bit here - it's only temporary I'm told but it's just perfect at the moment. Our squirrel seems to have been in hiding but she/he made an appearance today - nice to see her/him again. Inky is clearly used to seeing them and doesn't care, or is it too hot for him to. Meow to him and have a great week. Elizabeth x #21

Hi Linda, it's starting to cool down a little here; pleasant still but not unbearable. Laughed out loud at the message on your hubby's birthday card. Love the lady going across two pages of the journal too. Have a good week. Sarah #15

Love your junk journal - what a great idea too, and the birthday card is gorgeous - I love the font you used for the word Escape. The squirrels look so cute but I do feel sorry for them - it's been hot in the UK but probably nothing to what you are getting. It looks like it was too hot for Inky to even think about chasing them off!
Hope you have a great week,

I bet your hubby loved his card! Great journal page, too. Yesterday the heat index was 109 F here. I have some wonderful photos of squirrels laying in your potted plants on our deck to cool off (because the plant had been watered) in years past. No squirrels here, as we have moved and there are not many trees. Does Inky watch and ever go after the squirrels? :)
Sorry I am so late! #37

Hi Linda, I love your idea of chaos if only mine looked like that..
Fab journal page prep, I really need to get back into practice with mine.
Hubby's card is superb, I love that balloon image, Happy Birthday Mr L & many happy returns.
Inky looks very cool just watching the world go by hee hee!
Thanks for sharing WOYWW wishing you a wonderful weekend Tracey #7

Hi Linda! Sounds like your weather is very much like ours here in the UK. We haven't had any proper rain for two months now and it's too hot for Oreo in his black fur coat - poor Inky's in the same situation! A lovely busy desk with many projects on the go! Hope you're enjoying your weekend and it will not be too hot. zsuzsa #9

It's been hot here too and very humid when we have the heat wave I find our squirrels laying flat like that on our fence or in the new garden we just put in digging a hole to lay around in which is so cute to see.
hugs Nikki late :)

You have been busy, Linda, and what lovely pages and a great card for your hubby. I agree - time flies by - I can't believe we've been married 32 years and next year my hubby will be 70!!!!! Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment. Glad you are enjoying seeing the kitties. They are such lovely companions to each other and to us of course! We've had another busy week and still no time for art.

Happy very belated WOYWW,
