WOYWW #453

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello all! We are having a lovely snowfall this morning in Eastern Ontario! I did finally get to my desk this week, and started a new journal page. I had no idea what I was going to do or where it was going to go. Here is my desk:

BLOGIVERSARY! Monday, Feb 5, was my 13th year on Blogger! Here are some nice low-calorie donuts I made to share with you to celebrate!

Inky and I shared an awesome event last night around 3:30am. She is often sitting on her window perch in our bedroom at night, and sometimes when I get up in the night I join her to see what's happening. Well, last night, we were watching the most gorgeous specimen of a fox wandering in front of the house! (stock photo). It looked just like this one (but it was dark, in the middle of the night!)

His prints were still there this morning:
Here is our view from Inky's perch:
It was quite exciting!

That's it for me today, now I need to brave all the snow and meet my Mom for lunch! Then I will visit you!

Thanks for your visit!

Hi Linda, as ever your desk is a busy one. I like your homemade dot maker. The doughnuts looks very tasty and from here they are all calorie free :) It's freezing here, -1 degree, but no snow yet though it has been forecast. How marvelous to see a fox - I do think they are beautiful animals. Emjoy your lunch with your mum. Greetings to Inky. Elizabeth x #30

I love foxes, they must come out in winter for food. It's the only time we see them here. Such a pretty journal page and Congrats on 13 years, don't you wonder where that time went? But enjoy another 13 or more and have a fun week.

You and Inky look as if you enjoyed watching the snow. Especially the fox - was yours in such good condition?
Well, the bath and book are not on at the moment - I slept the clock around instead - but still am full of this cold. Ah well!
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

Gosh that’s a lot of snow. Hope you had a nice time with your Mum, lucky you. How do you arrive at 5hat r3ally lovely journal page when you sat down not knowing what you were going to do? Amazing. Did you pick a colour, a stamp, a stencil to start you off? Fascinating.

Hi Linda, great journal pages. Were we live there are foxes all around yet we live within walking distance of the city. My friend was only saying today that she had friends round yesterday and two foxes came right up to the house then jumped over the fence. We do back onto a large area of waste land so there is plenty of places for them to hide. Have a great woyww, Angela x17x

Hi Linda. The journal pages look great. I love the colours. Wow, that's a lot of snow. I visited my sister several years ago in February and there was so much snow! I'd never seen anything like it. Not been back in February again! Thanks for stopping by earlier. Have a lovely week Heather #28

How lovely that you got to see the fox! I liked looking at your desk and how you have things labeled! I have twirly whirly, and the TH words,
So fun that we all have so much in common. Thanks for the low calorie doughnuts and for the earlier visit! Happy Blogversary! I always forget mine! LOL

I love your annotated desk, Linda, and it amused me that you are another one who doesn't change their paint water from week to week hahaha!! I had one going for about two months once, and I was afraid it would start growing mushrooms... Those donuts look absolutely gorgeous - I have a real weakness for them but try to avoid them because of the calories! I am sure Inky was intrigued by the fox. What a fabulous photo. Thank you for your great comment - I am sure you are right, that the kittens will settle down once they grow up a bit more. I miss the sweet innocent days when they were tiny! They are still tremendous fun though, but I wish Ruby still wanted to cuddle! So glad you like my coloured pieces - I must say I was pleased with the result. I'm really enjoying working on this secret project! Thank you for your good wishes and I hope by next week I'll have some news of a date.

Happy WOYWW,

I am always so grateful the UK doesn't get snow in the quantities the States do! Hope you had a good visit with your Mum Helen #3

Great journal page and I absolutely adore the fox. What a treat to see him at night in your front garden. If it was my kitty she would of been making lots of strange noises (hissing/spitting/growling) all behind the glass. Have a lovely lunch with your mum

oh WOW I think I have never seen a fox before ever. (which is saying something because, I have lived more in the "country" than the city for most of my life) I am glad you had Inky in the house when it stopped by. Love the scarf too Linda :) ~Stacy #32

Canadian snow is always so much nicer somehow than snow in the UK. Probably because it isn't so slushy! I love how you've created that background for the paper dolls in your journal. Meow to Inky and keep warm. Sarah #20
