Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you
want to know what WOYWW is, just go to
http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be
revealed!
Hello everyone! It's a beautiful day here in Southern Ontario, the snow is gently falling, and it is a balmy -9C. Much nicer than the -20C we had yesterday! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Here is my desk this morning:
A relatively busy spot!
I told you last week I may need another set of drawers for more ink, and I did:
I went through all my old inks that I haven't used, really, since Distress Inks came out, and found most of my colorbox inks were dried up and/or disintegrated. So they all went in the garbage, and what was left went into the new ink drawers, which is now full. I'm not sure yet if I want to replace the pigment inks.
I also moved my Big-Shot, not sure if it will stay there yet.
My new journal page was interesting, I wanted to use this Paper Artsy stamp that I hadn't used for a very long time, and I just couldn't get it to stamp. I thought I would use my new Stamp Platform, but it just didn't do the job at all. I just ended up placing the stamp on the paper and pressing it with my fingers. I thought for sure the Platform would do the job, but was disappointed. Anyone else with this problem of using just the rubber (no backing) with the Platform?
The page is not finished yet, still waiting for more inspiration!
I accepted the Twofer Card Challenge that Julia did last week! It was fun! My blog post for it is here
I have been mostly busy here in my office, trying to clean it up. It was a MESS. But I'm trying to do something every day.
Looks much better! Inky is asleep under her hammock, as she is wont to do!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week, see you next time!

Afternoon Linda. Goodness - you've been busy! It sounds really cold out your way - it's cold here, but nothing like -20. We are expecting 70-80mph winds though in the next few hours...
Well done on all the tidying and sorting.
Take care. God bless.

What a great sort out you had! I love having a good going through my stash from time to time, it's good to get rid of the dried up/never going to be used stuff! I like your new ink boxes, very handy. And it made me laugh to see Inky asleep under the hammock, lolol! My cats are awkward like that too :-D

With temperatures like that, it would feel like summer here! I see Inky decided to sleep where she wanted to and not the place set aside for her lol. Which side of the stamp platform are you using for unmounted stamps? Even if they are rubber stamps, if there is no cushion backing on them then the clear side would be better. Love the journal page as it is so far. Have a great week and keep warm. Sarah #6/26.
Gosh that is cold! The Californians I am staying with would be so out of their comfort zone with your temperatures.
Love the journal page.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx
Hi Linda, liking the journal page. Great colours. Great job with the sorting. I know I have some inkpads I've had for years I must check up on. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxX

Busy desks are the best, what a great clear out you did, that cat hammock is awesome, have a nice weekend, hopefully not too cold, Vicky#5
"balmy -9C" LOL! I need one of those hammocks for Oreo! Typical that Inky would sleep underneath and not actually in it! Lovely journal page! Hope you find the perfect quote for it! Happy belated! zsuzsa #19
Lovely journal page. Wrap up warm in that cold!! I love your busy desk and the sweet hammock for Inky too. Thank you for your lovely comment and I'm sorry to be so long replying - I've been really tired since the funeral last week but at least I've managed to get back into my studio again this week!
Happy very belated WOYWW!
