WOYWW #449

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greetings! Hope everyone is well, and that the flu is over and done with in your part of the world! Here is my desk today:

and my first journal page of 2018, using my new stencils that my DD Caitlin gave to me for Christmas:

Yes, Inky and I are already fed up with winter!

Here is something I did in my craft room, I don't know if it saves any space or not, but it gets all my inks in one place. The first 4 drawers are all Distress Inks, the 5th are Oxides, and the last 2 are regular coloured inks. I know I will need at least one more of these. It is sitting on my right hand side.

And here is Inky playing with one of her Christmas pressies - a burlap fishy!

So that's it for us today! Short and sweet - working the evening shift tonight!

That's Inky in your journal page, no doubt! Fabulous storage for your ink pads - it's good to keep them all together! Looking at your desk, I've just remembered that I had one of those date stamps as well, but I haven't seen it since we moved - I hope I haven't lost it! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #18

Lovely to see Inky (with her Christmas toy?) playing happily. Lovely to see her featured in your journal page too, quite a famous little cat!
Enjoy your new storage - that looks great with lots and lots of ink pads to hand.

Well, the main flu symptoms have gone but my legs and still leaden and I have no energy! I'm trying to walk everyday and get my stamina back up but it's hard going. So I'm more than ready for Spring too - bring it on! I loved the pic of Inky attacking her fishy!

I spotted Inky on that journal page immediately. She's giving you a most suspicious look in that last photo as if you might take her fishy away lol. Have a great week (no flu here thank goodness). Sarah #12

Can't wait for Spring here too. I'm not a winter person so can't wait for the warm sunshine to return. Fingers crossed we have dodged the flu for the time being. I can't afford to be poorly at the minute, too much to do.
Love your tower of inks. Santa brought me some oxides but I've only just got to have a play. Loving them though.

Hi Linda. late visiting you I'm afraid this week. Haven't had the computer on since Wednesday afternoon!! I do like your journal page - although I confess to loving winter. Today is SO cold and frosty here on the North Wales coast - but the sun is shining too, and everything just looks so beautiful. you have been busy with sorting your inks - that's a great set f drawers!
Take care. God bless.

I’m late, sorry! Love the journal page, and so totally get it, I am more than ready too. Even though it will make me busier, I neeeeeed it!! I read your photo labels with glee, love them. The stopper thingy needs new feet and then, glue glue glue. Makes me smile!

What a delightful page, showing Inky anticipating the spring, Linda! I think we are all in agreement. I love the picture of her playing with her new toy, too - I'm glad she didn't get forgotten over Christmas! Our kitties have been busy playing with a lemon recently - one of those plastic ones, that I'd put some rice inside - I made it years ago for our previous kitties and thought they would enjoy it. I love your new ink drawers! I've got my DIs in two shallow Really Useful Boxes and it sort of works but I've never found the ideal solution for storing them so that I can find what I want straight away.

Thank you for your lovely comment and for your good wishes for the memorial service. Things are coming together gradually. I'm glad you enjoyed this week's kitty photos, too. They are very cuddly and affectionate - Lily will go all floppy and relaxed and go right off to sleep, but Ruby is a proper little fidget! She starts purring instantly, though. You are right, they are certainly growing.

Happy belated WOYWW,
