I was reading Julie Dunnit's post today, and she mentioned she had participated in a "Twofer Card Challenge". Well, doesn't that sound intriguing, so I went to the link: https://twofercardchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/
and thought I would try!
The bird is Inkadinkadoo (Michael's) and the background is a Stencil with Distrss Inks (I think the stencil is Stencil Girl)
The background on th is one is a stencil too (one of my favourites, not a NBUS) with Dylusion Sprays, the frame is Paper Artsy (NBUS) and the thank you is Stampin' Up (NBUS as well!). For the thank you stamp (all the words are on one stamp) I used Kaleidoscope ink, also NBUS! We should also have HEBUS (Hardly Ever Before Used Schtuff!)
and thought I would try!
The theme of the challenge is "to make two
different occasion cards featuring the same themed stamp/image/die cut."They have a challenge theme stamp to use each month, this month it's "feathers". After seeing Julia's beautiful cards here,
I thought I would give it a try! "The
goal is to stretch your creativity as well as your stamps and dies by
making two distinctly different designs using the same prompt stamp or
die." I also love the concept of NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff), goodness knows I have a lot of that!
So here is my first entry, using a Tim Holtz feather stamp and die set that I bought a couple of years ago, and never used yet:
The background on th is one is a stencil too (one of my favourites, not a NBUS) with Dylusion Sprays, the frame is Paper Artsy (NBUS) and the thank you is Stampin' Up (NBUS as well!). Well, that's it for me, I will add these to the challenge page and see what happens!

Beautiful and artistic looking cards. And, love the bright colors you used on them.
These are so pretty. Love the feathers you used. Gorgeous cards. Hugz
Your cards 'jumped out' at me in the linky gallery! Both are stunning, Jo x
Wow! These are just amazing! I love the two very different looks you've made using these wonderful feathers! Those colors and your ability with the DIs is fabulous and bright. Great stamps!! Thanks for joining us at the Twofer Challenge! Bev
What fun bird cards! I actually have that bird stamp in your first card, and didn’t think to use it for this challenge. Great job!
You really have incredible talent with inks and stencils, Linda! Your different designs for different occasions are both outstanding ways to showcase your feathers and turn your NBUS and HEBUS into BUS! (Sorry, I couldn't resist!) Thank you for coming to meet me on my personal blog and following Julia into my new Twofer challenge! I appreciate it and hope to see you again soon!! Hugs, Darnell
Stunning cards! Love your use of colours and wonderful artistry in creating such awesome designs.
