WOYWW #443

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Greeting to you all! I have to work today, so I'm getting all this ready Tuesday evening, wine in hand! Our weather has been fairly pleasant lately, no snow since last week! We went on a weekend trip to Dundas, near Hamilton (just past Toronto), about a 4 1/2 hour drive, it was cloudy, but no snow or rain! We went to an annual Christmas Party, our 42nd, a gathering of the University boys who used to all live together in one house, and their spouses. We have a great time every year!

Here is my desk this evening - a bit neglected as I haven't sat here since last Friday!

I got a bunch of Christmas Cards done on Friday:
I made 10 of these:

1 of this one and decided it would be too much work to reproduce, but I love the Santa stamp. . .

Someone in this group talked about doing a masterboard for background for her CCs, so I tried one, and I loved it!

So I made a few with the masterboard background:

I did make one more, but forgot to take a picture of it. I have a bit left, so I will use it up, and perhaps make another one! It was fun!

This one is a magnet. Someone gave me a magnet of their business, of course the first thing I do is alter it!

Well, that's me for today, the sun is now hitting Inky's hammock at just the right angle in the afternoon, so here she is enjoying it!
News on the new kitten, Pinot, it is not to be, another group who won't allow cats to have an outdoor experience in their life. It's really starting to irk me! I would think an indoor cat would be at far more risk of being hit by a car (if escaped) than a cat who knows what cars are. And cats need to be outdoors! OK, my rant of the day is over. Still looking for a kitten. . .

Wishing everyone a wonderful week of artful creativeness!

What a lovely post! I think it's wonderful that the Uni boys still get together after all this time, good for them all. Love your desk and cards, specially that Father Christmas stamp, he looks quite Russian to me. And what's all this nonsense about cats having to be kept inside? That's just wrong. Hopefully you'll find another kitten from somewhere else.

Hi, I love masterboards too, they make such great backgrounds and can be used on quite a few cards, even small pieces. Glad the uni get together went well; it's a great tradition. Meow to Inky, hope she gets a new companion soon. Sarah #9

Hi Linda, I've made all my cards using Masterboards, once they are ready putting the cards together is easy and quick. I know you can use printed papers but it just doesn't feel the same as making your own and it gives you more choice of colours and images you want on your card. So yes I am definitely a lover of the Masterboard. Have a great and very creative woyww, Angela x12x

You've been very productive, Linda, despite not being in your craft room since Friday. I'm sorry that poor Pinot is destined for an indoor life. You're right, cats need to go outside from time to time. Luckily Oreo never goes far and the road is too far for him to go. I'm more worried about foxes, so I only let him out during the day. Inky looks so cushy in that hammock! Hope you're having a good week and can enjoy your craft room later on. zsuzsa #24

Shame about the kitten, but what a fabulous picture of Inky.
Lovely Christmas cards - now why did I not think of a masterboard? Mine are so plain - yours are lovely.
What a fabulous group you look to be - looks as if you are all having a great time.
Hugs & Thanks for visiting me - Neet 8 xx

Hi Linda, Glad you enjoyed the get together.

What a lot of lovely cards.

My girls (Greyhounds) are jealous of Inky's hammock:) LOL

Hope you find a cat soon. Maybe try local advertisments.
