WOYWW #442

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Hello everyone! As we are getting colder and colder, our friends in Oz are getting warmer! Just a bit of jealousy there. . . we had our first snowfall this week.

it's all gone now, but I'm sure it will be back!

Here is my desk this morning:
A bit of a mess, as I am trying to make Christmas cards! I don't have a lot to make, I have made about 12 so far, of about 21. So not too bad! My favourite Santa stamp is there, I just find him so happy and joyous!
Here is my card stash so far. Not much to look at!

Here is an "assemblage" I made last week, I didn't know where it was going until it decided to be an Advent Calendar!
All the extra numbers are velcroed to the back and sides. I used a 99 cent wooden plaque I found at a thrift store as the base, and the word on top is made from the woodmounts of my scrabble stamps!

I have been wanting to get a companion for Inky, and have fallen in love with "Pinot" (noir!) at our local Cat Cafe, and I hope to adopt her in a few weeks, once we are home for the winter. Hopefully no one else will get her before we do! She is also pure black and tiny, just like Inky! Hopefully they will get along. She came right up to me and snuggled and purred - she didn't do that with anyone else that was there!

Here is Inky, right after discovering her world was now white.

She looks a little disgusted to me! But now that it has all melted away, she's back outside for short bursts, as it is still pretty cold! Pretty soon, she will once again, be an indoor cat.

Have a great week everyone! I will visit everyone as I have time, will visit all who comment (thank you!) and all who's number ends in the same as mine, and all who I have time for after that.

And. . . Happy Turkey Day to all our American friends! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

You have snow!!! I hope to have some snow this year - it would be lovely to have a white Christmas. Good job on the cards and love the advent calendar - so different from anything I've seen before! Hope you can take home Pinot later - can they not reserve her for you? She's clearly chosen you - so sweet and I'm sure Inky will be delighted - perhaps not straight away but in the long run LOL! Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #20

Hi Linda, I hope you do get to adopt your beautiful kitty. She does seem to have taken to you, doesn't she? Maybe she could smell Inky on you? That's a good sign.My cat used to hate the snow ttoo- not that we really get enough over here for him to have ever gotten used to, lol. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 XxX

Love the picture of Inky. I do hope you get the other little black cat and that Inky likes her and they become firm friends. Cats have a sense of where they belong and it looks as if you have been adopted. Beg them to keep her for you.
Well Linda you are a lot more organised than I am - no "C" cards done here yet. Hopefully tomorrow will see a start being made - when I get the desk tidy and the die-cut machine out.
Hugs and Thanks for visiting me, Neet xx

You've done rather better than I have with your Christmas cards - I'm struggling to catch up so need to get s wiggle on. The kitten is adorable - hope all works out to plan and Inky takes to the kitten better than he has to the snow. Thanks for your earlier visit - I'm struggling behind as usual. Have a great week. Oooh... snow?! We didn't get that in the Netherlands yet... I'm both looking forward to it (a white world is beautiful) and I don't (it's cold, slippery to walk to the store for groceries and when it melts it's awful on the streets...) Oh well, winter brings what it brings isn't it... Thanks for stopping by my blog last week - time flies, it's Monday already! Big hug from Holland, Marit #18
