Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you
want to know what WOYWW is, just go to
http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be
revealed!
Good morning everyone (or afternoon or evening, depending when your are reading this!) We have been having nice rain-free days for the past few days, summer might actually be here to stay!
Here is my desk this morning:
Not too bad, I've been keeping it pretty clean lately! I find I am MUCH better at putting away my stamps now that they are in binders!
Index cards, Days 82-87
Still working on figuring out Pic Monkey backgrounds - seems I could fill in the background last week, but not this week!
I made 2 new canvases this week out of my index cards:
Here is what they look like on my stereo. I have about 10 completed, they are 5"X7":
We are going through tough times at the moment with our elderly cat, Penny, who is 18 years old. She has refused food and water for over a week now, and is quietly slipping away. She doesn't seem to be in pain, actually looks quite content. She spent pretty much all day for the last few days outside, wandering from place to place. We are keeping her inside today, although I don't think she could get very far today. I will probably have the sad news by next week. Here she was last week:
Flowers from the garden to close this post,

oh, poor Penny! love your index cards. Helen #2
Amazing new index cards, Linda, and I really like how you turned some of them into art displays. I have no idea how you did it! Poor old Penny! You know cats when they think it's their time to go, they sometimes hide somewhere to slip away. Maybe she was looking for such a place. So sad, but it's the natural progression of life - 18 years is a very good age for a cat. I hope Oreo will live that long! Stay strong and give Penny a hug from me. Thanks for visiting earlier! zsuzsa #17
Busy desk and lots of crafting that shows you've been super busy - Hazel WOYWW 36 x
So sorry about your cat - she looks just like our first cat who went into renal failure and had to be put down on Christmas eve 2010. We got a kitten from the Vet as the children were devastated and she's sleeping at my feet as I work! I agree that it is much easier to tidy away the stamps now that I've put them into files.

have had several cats head out to the rainbow bridge over the years. it is so sad when they leave. love the idea that we will all meet in another dimension and the rainbow bridge seems lovely. We waited a year before we replaced Tripper and now the kittens are fully grown and in control of our lives. your index cards are fantastic I just spend 10 minutes on them and move onto another task.
have a fabulous week

Hi Linda. It's always sad when you loose a much loved pet but she has obviously had a good life to get to that age. Busy desk and lots of lovely crafting too. Have a great woyww and a lovely crafty week, Angela x12x
Great WOYWW Have a great week xx Jan (26)
You have been prolific again this week. Hugs. Hope the end is peaceful and not too upsetting! Sarah #23
Poor kitty, I am sure she will be sadly missed. Love those index cards and the display looks perfect.

Poor puss cat, that's exactly what happened with my car a month ago....he wasn't in pain either, just slipped away. Sending you a big hug 💖 Isn't it odd how a simple thing like using binders for your stamps has had such a good result, keep up the good work!

Great ICADs! I've started with the 61 day challenge too. Big hugs on your cat. It's so tough to see pets suffer. Take care. Dorlene #30
Love your projects; they are very well done. Your flowers are pretty. Sorry your kitty isn't doing well. 18 years is pretty good for a kitty, but one sure gets attached to them, , like a child! Thanks for coming and commenting on my blog. #28
Beautiful cards! I have Photoshop which my computer refuses to work with since the last Microsoft upgrade. Using PicMonkey until I get my new Elements 15, not too crazy about PicMonkey and don't like the email advertising. Prayers for Penny. We've had to put cats to sleep and it's just so hard and heartbreaking. Thanks for the visit.
