Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you
want to know what WOYWW is, just go to
http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html and all will be
revealed!
Hello all! Another power outage planned for today, but not until 12:00, so I at least have the morning to get things done!
Here is my desk at 9am this morning:
No art on it because the last workshop I took from the Woman Unleashed Retreat was about relationships - we had to fill out these forms. The info may result in a journal page, I don't know yet.
But here is the last journal page I made for the retreat. You had to turn your journal 90 degrees every few minutes to get a different perspective on your work, and add to it. The more I turned it it, the more I hated it! Finally I added the magazine woman and some paint, and it's at least acceptable now.
Here are my index cards this week, I'm up to 75! I had to skip a few days where I was just too busy:
And it is a BEAUTIFUL sunny day today, just after a rain, everything smells fresh, the dew is on the flowers, so I thought some garden pics would be nice!
My little perennial garden is starting to break out in flowers galore!
This is my little corner-of-the-driveway "grotto", small but oh so pretty! The roses are on the other side, and you can see the bird feeder on the upper right. We feed the birds, the squirrels, and the rabbits from this feeder!
Our first red rose:
The tomatoes are growing like wildfire!
And here are our first pink roses, picked a few days ago:
Hope I didn't bore you with all the garden pics! I have such a small garden, but it gives me so much joy!
Here's Inky, doing what she does so well!
I hope everyone has an awesome week, full of joy, creativity and love! I'm off now to visit yours!

Another busy desk - no basil water this week, I spy! Isn't it funny how some projects just don't feel right. I've made a few things that I rushed through simply because i resented the time it took to make them :-D
Hugs, LLJ 13 xxxx
Hi there. Glad you ended up a little more satisfied - I think I would have given up if I had been so disappointed with the work... Love the garden pictures - don't apologise for them. It's so satisfying when things grow, and you know the effort you have put into making somewhere really lovely. Well done. Any time you feel the need for a bigger garden space, pop by and you can try out mine!!
Take care. God bless.

Love the garden pictures - your garden actually looks as though it's quite large :-) ours is small as well. Love the index cards. I've had projects that just won't go right - I've often put them in the bin - ran out of patience. Have a great week. Anne x #25
What a great desk. TFS Happy WOYWW xx Jan (31)

I am lazy as your cat! ;)
So I do not participate this week, I still have to visit blogs from last weeks WOYWW and this week I´m just looking around.
Happy week to you!
Sussie
Your index cards are fabulous - I'm particularly taken with the butterfly but anything with wings appeals to me!! Your garden is looking fab and it may be small but it's beautiful. Actually is doesn't look that small to me.
The flowers are gorgeous - I love pink roses and also I really like the purple spikey plant in your perennial garden - quite eye-catching.
Hope you have a great week,
Diana #25
I like the idea of turning the journal page at each stage, must try this and your lady finishes it all off beautifully.
The garden is looking beautiful. We've had so much rain this week mine's a bit soggy. No woyww from me this week but hopefully back next time.
Hugs Lisax
Love your journal page and the idea to turn it 90 degrees every so often, I think it looks great especially with the magazine picture.
Grandad collars are much like Nehru collars as can be seen on the link I set on my page, but here it is directly for you to see the history of the collar - http://www.burton.co.uk/blog/the-history-of-the-grandad-collar-shirt/?geoip=home
The collar was for a work colleague of my hubby and he loves it. Will show the finished thing next week and also what I got in return - yum enjoying it now!
Thanks for the visit BJ#28
Lovely post, Lindart - so many nice things to look at, and the kitty pic is adorable! Our Phoebe used to roll a lot outside, and then come in covered in bits which she used to shake all over the house! Thank you for your lovely comment - yes, that kitty tree is fairly impressive, isn't it! We saw our new babies yesterday and I've just blogged about them if you want to hop back for a quick peek. They are super-cute.
Happy belated WOYWW,
Shoshi #11
Lovely post, I particularly like your chat noir card. Your garden is beautiful. Have a great week, hugs, Lynne #46
Hello Inky! Hi there Lindart!
Love the garden pictures, such cute little plots. Inspiring.
I do like your journal page, and thought the turning was a great idea that, if I remember, I will adopt at some time. Also like the index cards, especially the French Cat.
Thanks for visiting me - sorry I am so late, been in bed ill but fine now.
Hugs, Neet xx
Thank you for your return visit, Lindart - and so glad you like our kittens! They are rather cute, aren't they! We discovered several different distinguishing marks straight away - one has a grey nose and the other a little grey inkblot on her nose, and one has a tiny white tip to her tail. Apart from that, they are like identical twins! One is very slightly lighter in colour than the other, too. I am sure we will have no problems telling them apart, but they will end up with different coloured collars, like our previous cats did. We sShoshitill haven't chosen names because we can't agree!

Hi Linda! I'm soooo late visiting back! It's Wednesday again! Loving your index cards - great that you can stick with that project - I'm good at starting things and then conveniently forget about them LOL. I would have been disappointed not to see a photo of Inky! Cats manage to remain remarkably clean despite lying around in the first somehow. What I like about cats is that - unlike dogs - they don't smell at all! I'll be back later today for your next WOYWW post!
