WOYWW #390

Another Wednesday, time to peek at each others desks and projects! If you want to know what WOYWW is, just go to http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.ca/p/what-is-woyww.html  and all will be revealed!

Winter has struck here in Eastern Ontario, we have snow, and below freezing weather, however, it is supposed to warm up on the weekend! Inky is not happy cat - she has her outside routine all summer, and now she refuses to go outside!!

Here is my "Nest" this morning, it's quite a trial these days to get to my chair, with all my boxes of stamps piling up around me!

I have to walk very carefully, sometimes I hear things crashing down behind me! Here is my desk this morning:

Quite messy, I think I will have to break down and clean it up!

Here are parts of a card I'm making. . .this is a Hero Arts stamp with an added Santa and Sleigh - one of my favorite and most versatile Christmas stamps!
And here is the card: of course the snow is all beautiful and glittery!

Sadly I had to make Sympathy Cards this week,

And I bought some new Stickles - what a difference a little Stickles makes!

Thanks for looking!
Happy Turkey Day for anyone celebrating tomorrow!

What a lovely space to create! Oh yes sympathy cards are not always easy to create, but nonetheless I think it is just beautiful to share your sympathy ♥ Thank you for stopping by my place and you kind words.

I had to smile at your desk because mine's the same when I create.Love your cards. Poor pussy.I bet the poor dear is seeking out a warm spot. We here in Oz(South Australia are barrelling into Summer.I have never felt snow as we are a warm climate mostly. Our Winters are relatively mild.
Thank you for your visit and kind comment.

Beautiful cards! My craftroom is beginning to get a lot like that. I have to make sure I'm looking down at the floor so I don't fall over anything. Once I'm done with the Christmas goodies I can put them all neatly away - rather, that's the plan!

My poor cat is feeling the same way.

Your cat couldn't be any more disgruntled, lol!! My two give me the cold shoulder if something has ticked them off too. I hope the weather does warm up so it can go outside again!
The captions on your photos made me hoot, especially the path to your desk!

The cards look good and as for the cat I just think she knows the best place to be when it's cold outside, very sensible! Have a great woyww, Angela x 18

Hello Lindart. That is a tiny pathway to your chair I have one of those kinda right now at the bottom of the stairs with empty boxes from the Christmas decorations I have put up just have to put them back under the crawl space. I don't really like having to crawl to get things in or out from that. I am in love with that stamp you have used on your card....to beautiful. You have done so many breathtaking cards. Funny thing is my fluffy little dogs love winter and northern Alberta it does last for sometime, they are the only ones in our house who seems to get excited when it snows. Your cat isn't having a happy season that is my dogs when we have hot summer days. Thanks for visiting me earlier and have a wonderful week. Hugs ~Anne L#2
P.S. The tutorial for the mini folio album from Super Happy Scrapper on you tube is called "scrapbook folder folio style 2-Hello my name is" date was Nov 24,2014 when she posted it.

Happy Belated WOYWW. I love that Hero Arts stamp. I can see why it is your favourite. Beautiful sympathy cards too. Despite still doing my huge craft room declutter, I still seem to have far too much in here - and currently dodging boxes/bags of stuff waiting to be sold/donated/chucked out. I am going to do a small amount each day, or it will be here forever! Ali x #32

Poor Inky being stuck indoors. I love his hammock - I think Oreo might want one of those! Love the path to your chair LOL! As long as you can get to it - all is well! Great cards too - at least it's nice to get cooped up indoors when it's called outside! Thanks for visiting - sorry it took me a while to get back, but better late than never! zsuzsa #22

Another week, and you will have to 'fly' to your chair, ha! Love the photos and the x-mas card/stamp is just beautiful! Thanks for visiting my blog earlier and yes, please, join the fun with the Top 2000 party in December, you are most welcome! I’m late with my woyww-visits so: Happy weekend! Lots of interesting stuff going on in your nest, Lindart, and I totally agree about Stickles - love 'em! It's just a pity that they don't show up very well on photos, isn't it.

Thank you for your two lovely comments! I have been pretty exhausted after Wednesday's cookathon and haven't done a lot since, so trying to catch up now. My freezer isn't enormous, and it's now full! Time to start eating things up, I think.

As for kitties and the cold, ours are the same and are not so eager to go out now, and are using the litter tray a lot more than in the summer! They are also more keen on coming on the bed and on our laps. They are both spoilt rotten and get away with murder in this house!

In answer to your question, I draw my mandalas on the iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil, using an app called PaintStorm which has an amazing mirror facility - you still have to design and draw by hand, but you only have to draw one motif and it fills up the whole circle with repeats, which takes the donkey work out of it and you end up with a nice symmetrical mandala. I then spend ages colouring them in! I have drawn them by hand on paper as well. I do most of my art work on the iPad using Procreate which is a fabulous drawing/painting app. I colour the mandalas using this as it's more user friendly than PaintStorm (or perhaps I ust need more practice!)

After being given your cancer all-clear, they follow you up with six monthly appointments and scans for 2 years, and if you remain cancer free, once a year for 3 years, and then they discharge you. It's great to know they keep such a good eye on you. The aftermath for me is ongoing, of course - permanent ileostomy, and now a parastomal hernia. I also still have some ongoing effects from the chemo. I am alive, though, and that's the main thing! These things are a small price to pay.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Your cards are simply beautiful. Sympathy cards are very difficult to make, especially when it comes to writing in it. Sorry for taking so long to reciprocate to your comment... Blessings!
