I've been busy with work the past month, and really haven't had time for much art. I'm finishing off a Journal, and I'll post the final pages soon. But I have done a few pages in my Moleskine, and one is a tribute to Michael Jackson. I was so sad to hear that he had died. He was a genius in the music/dance world, and I have always admired him. I feel he was an "innocent" and that a lot of people took advantage of that. He never had a chance to be a child, and the public took that away from him as an adult. He was probably a tortured soul.
Here is my MJ page:
Here are the other 2 pages I managed to do in June:

Linda;
Great picture of Michael Jackson. That was a shock! I feel for his kids.
Thanks for sharing.

Your journal pages are very lively. Great work:)
Good job with MJ. I have been thinking of doing the same, just haven't got any good ideas yet. :)
I'd have recognized your drawing as Michael, even if I hadn't read it. I think it looks more like him back when he actually looked like the "real" Michael. Know what I mean? I never understood why he had all those surgeries. There wasn't anything wrong with the way he looked before. Anyway, great pages!
I had a very good looking neighbor once. He was about 19 and gorgeous. He had a lovely girlfriend. He shot himself because he thought he looked grotesque. It is a mental illness. I think MJ had it too, along with Lupis and the skin disease. He dealt with it by trying to change his appearance. He didn't see himself the way we saw him.
Love your drawings... great efforts and fun subjects! Thanks for sharing!
