Greetings all! I had my offending tooth out yesterday, and today I am enjoying smoothies. It was an ordeal, as it always is, but I survived.

Here is my desk this morning:

I have just finished making a box that I downloaded from Bohemian Crafting. A cute little box!

I used my new TH stencil for the inside. I have another one to make as well.
I also made a little box to go inside a journal to hold 3-D items like keys, using a Stim-u-dent box as a template!

I made a couple more bookmarks for a birthday, and going away gifts. The birthday girl is a bit funky, and the going away lady is much older.

And finally, the Valentine's card I made for hubby. Our 43rd Valentines Day together!

Hello all! This week has been a terrible week for me - I have been fighting with an abscessed tooth all week. My face was swollen up like a basketball on Sunday and Monday, better on Tuesday when the thing popped. There was a lot of pain and feeling sorry for myself.

Anyway, I did manage to get my desk nice and messy:

I made a small masterboard with the theme of cats-all from Graphic Fairy:

and then made a bookmark from it for a friend. I have plans to make several more bookmarks from this masterboard!

Happy Birthday to my mother who is 85 years young today, still working full time at home editing books and loving it. We go to lunch twice a week which is very nice. I just hope I can do as well at 85 as she is. If only I can get through my 60s...LOL!

Well, that's it for me today. Hoping the abscess doesn't re-form again and I can get back to life.

Happy February! Boy January went by so fast! We are experiencing our annual "February thaw" that people forget about every year, it's when February teases us that Spring is just around the corner...then blasts us with snow to prove it's still winter! the blast should come on Thursday...

I have been playing some more with my masterboard, and came up with 3 more cards:

I find it amazing how different they all are considering their backgrounds came from the same masterboard!

My new masterboard is a bit different, I was going for more masculine brown colours.
It's not finished yet though, this is just stage 1!

Hello! I am so pleased to be posting twice in a row now, hopefully I'm now back on track for every week!

This week did see me using my new craft mat, and as usual, my space quickly shrank to about an 6" square! 

First, I made a collage masterboard,

then photocopied it, and cut it up to make (so far) 2 greeting cards and 2 ATCs

Then I played with my 3 new dies that hubby gave me for my birthday

And came up with this using 2 of the dies and my new Brushos,

and the 3rd die was interesting, I wasn't quite sure what it was meant for, but I used my Google app to search for it, and it came up with this:

A lantern!

So that's quite a lot for my first week back I think! Still need to get back into my art journal, but I will!

A bit late, I know, but I haven't been around for awhile. Christmas was great, but just after that I was sick. Sick on my birthday! Then when that was over I got something different. Just getting over that now, my energy levels are just now picking up enough that I can put away my decorations! I haven't been in my craft room for a month, but I got some lovely things for Christmas that should get me going again!

Finally got a Tim Holtz glass mat! Excited! But bigger than my mat before so I had to move my tiered basket.
