It's What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday, time for a peek at each other's desks and projects! We are now sharing through Sarah, at Sarah's Craft Shed.

Hello from a snowy wintery day! Here is my desk this morning:

You can see that I left the lid off the glue🫨! That'sbecause I last used it at 3 in the morning🥱!

I made a little addition to one of the pieces from last week, adding "Today will be a Peaceful Day". I also made a 12x12 woven piece with the same message. This is the message of the Bhuddist monks who walked from Texas to Washington DC. Did you guys get to see that? It was pretty incredible.

And I did work on my self-care journal a bit this week. Not sure it's completly finished...this page was to remind myself of my accomplishments.

Well that's it for me today. Mittsy went to the vet for her yearly check-up, and is now 16.44 Lbs! She is so heavy! But not fat, all muscle! (well, maybe a little fat!)

She used to be so little! And so cute! Now she is a "bruiser"! She is also now considered a "senior". Too bad that doesn't mean she gets senior discounts from the vet!

Have a wonderful week!

First, I apologise for not getting to my comments this week. Thank you to all who commented and wished me well, it always helps! I think I was in a bit of a fog last week, still dealing with my cold, coughing and shingles, but I think we are on the road to recovery! Here is my desk this morning:

My journal is awaiting the next page to be started. I did manage to do a Fodder School 2 project, and I really liked it! Something I remember doing in grade school, but now I'm using my own papers!

I thought I would add a focal point to this one:

And I had cut off all the fringes. Bit then I thought I liked the fringes and made another one with a bigger focal point...

Which one do you like best? Or is it better with no focal point? I have some more ideas with this that I want to try. A great way to get rid of scraps!

My Mom turned 91 last week, here is her card:

And of course, Valentines Day...

I am so grateful to even be able to make him a card after his ICU scare two weeks ago.❤️

That's it for me this week, I will be much better at commenting this week, I promise!

Hello! I have been off for 2 weeks, a lot has happened. I've been dealing with shingles, then a bad cold on top of that, then hubby in ICU and the stress of that...it's been a heck of a two weeks. But I'm on the mend, hubby is home. I'm now just dealing with the pain of the shingles, and the awful coughing through the night. I'm not getting a lot of sleep🙁. But I've been taking honey instead of cough syrup - it works pretty well! I haven't been able to do much in my art room, but here is my desk this morning:

And here is the Gratitude page for my Self-Care journal:

And that's it as far as any art goes. I am hoping to get back to it very soon. My next page is supposed to be "achievements".

Inky has been by my side a lot lately, she always knows when something is up. She's never done this before though! Sitting on the back of my chair...she's done this several times now.

And here is a beautiful photo from Feb 1st...

His den is right in front of our house. He is one handsome fox!

I hope everyone is well, especially Neet, and that everyone has a lovely Valentines Day!
