Hello! I hope everyone is well this morning! I have finally finished re-organizing my craft room. It took almost all month, and I got rid of piles and piles of things I guess I didn't need. Especially storage trays and containers.  Here is a description of what my room used to be:

My art room is a mess. I can’t walk from my door to my chair without stepping on something. On my way to my chair I bump into something that falls on the floor. No real reason to pick it up, I don’t even pay much attention to what it is. I sit down, ready to create. I feel good, but a little cramped. I don’t have much room to create, maybe about a 6”x6” spot, but that’s ok, I just plop my journal on top of what is already there. I look for a stencil I want…where is it? It was here yesterday, what happened to it? I look in several spots before I find it. Now I need some paint…there it is, all my paints, but I have to reach over a chest of drawers to get to them, the basket is so heavy my arms feel like they are going to break! I find the colour I want, bit now I need a sponge, I know where those are and I am able to get one easily. So I start my journal page. Every time I need something I have to search for it. I have no place to put my journal while it’s drying so I plop it on top of one of my rolling carts, and continue to create in this haphazard way.

So now I introduce my new and improved craft room! Starting with my desk:

This is to my right, just under the table. Everything I use often is within reach!

I won't bore you with more photos, just saying that I did 2 journal pages this week! I will post them next week.

The sun is starting to come out, we are expecting rain today (yes! Melt the darn snow!), spring is on it's way, the cats will be happy!

Hello! We have had a bit of a snowy weekend this week! A bit more than usual...

But the roads are all plowed and everything is good.

Here is my desk:

Nice and clean, a frame on top which I am giving to the thrift store, but otherwise pretty clean. That doesn't mean I didn't make anything last week - I made my hubby's Valentines card!

Other than the card, I am still working on organizing my art room. This week I organized all my stencils, among other things.

My Mother's 90th birthday went very well, she was very pleased! Getting ready to blow out her candles!

And here is Jasper, so excited about Valentines Day!

That's it for me today, I'm off playing Pickleball this morning, so will visit tomorrow! Inky and Mittsy are saying "will Spring EVER come??"!

Hello! No pickleball today, but it is my Mom's 90th birthday! We will be having a little get together for her at one of her favourite restaurants with a few of her friends, but she thinks it's only with me! So hopefully it will go well. 

I'm still working on my room, but it is getting there! Here is my desk this morning:

The green card in the corner is my Mom's Birthday Card, that I made with Motion Crafts by Uchi's Design. I also made Jasper's Valentine's card with it. This is a stamp set plus a die that I picked up years ago, and have only made it once. It is very difficult, I had to watch the video at least 5 different times, getting something wrong each time!

My first 3 failures! The image is supposed to move...Finally I was successful, and took a very short video, hoping I could post it, but I couldn't 😢, so here is just the inside of Jasper's Valentines card. The image moves up and down and the heart gets bigger and smaller.

And then I made on for my Mom as well, but I still don't think it's perfect!

Anyway, that's it for me today, hopefully next week I will have pics of my art room all organized! I hope everyone has a wonderful week, Inky and Mittsy send purrs!

Today is the 20th Anniversary of my Blog! A Blogaversary if you will! Hard to believe I've been doing this for 20 years!

Anyway, I am still in the midst of cleaning and organizing. Here is my desk, looking a bit better than last time...(taken yesterday)

Things are looking more organized, and neater, and I have more room to move! I would say, if you drew a line down the middle of my room, the left side would be done.

Here are a few highlights:

And here is a big box of storage boxes etc that I'm not using anymore (there's even more in Jasper's room)

We had a beautiful snow last night, large fluffy sticky snow, and this is what we woke up this morning (taken from the second floor looking down onto the street) -that's not the sun - it's my bedroom light!

And the view from where I am now sitting, a bit different than last week!

Well, that's it for me today. As usual I'm off to Pickleball this morning, and will get to everyone tomorrow!
