Hello everyone! Well, hubby has COVID, and so I suppose it is expected I will get it too, although I hope not! I took the pic of my desk yesterday, I'm just finishing up my Accordion Book from Fodder School #1, a lesson by Roxanne Padget (July's lesson). She made her accordion book with dresses, but mine is completely different! Here is my desk. There is a clue somewhere on my desk...

Here is a page in my JIYA journal, not sure how it will be finished yet. The journaling part is ready to note how many Trick-or-Treaters we will be getting, but I have the sneaky suspicion it will be zero, due to our COVID 😢 So we will see what happens.

I will leave you with the Jack-O-Lantern that my SIL carved with Jasper, although she seemed much more interested in drawing J-O-L faces on post-it notes than helping her dad carve!

What lovely October weather we have been having! Temperatures going up to 21°C! We have been able to sit on the porch for wine time most of the month! Crazy...

Here is my desk, taken yesterday:

Not much happening, although I did buy 2 tins for upcoming projects, and a couple of new paints. Other than that it has been a slow week, not much action here! Hopefully next week I can get back to working on my accordion book.

Here is a page from my JIYA journal. The skeleton is something that I have had for years and years, that was made by a woman named Tolegranny that belonged to a group I was in many years ago. I've always loved this skelly, and was glad to find a permanent home for her before she fell apart!

This past Sunday was our 40th wedding anniversary! It's hard to believe! Here is the card I made for my hubby from one of the collages I made in the spring:

We went to see Jesus Christ Superstar on the Friday night, and we got a snap of us, 40 years! It seems like a long time, but doesn't feel like a long time!

I made a special anniversary dinner of roast beef and Yorkshire Pudding, and this time the Yorkshire Puddings worked! First time for me!

Well that's it for me today. The cats are enjoying the fall weather, but come in often to get warm, then pop out again. They do love the afternoon sun!

Hello everyone! I missed last week's post! I completely and totally forgot about it until Thursday. It's because I now go to pickleball on Wednesday mornings, and that's all I can think about! So I will make a concerted effort to write my blog on Tuesdays. Here is my desk this Tuesday morning:

Not much on it, just my instructions for the new project I am working on - an Accordion Book.

The big pages with the painted "dots" are done on scrapbook paper, something I have a lot of but rarely use, I love this idea for background paper!

Some days I just choose to be miserable...LOL!

We had our Canadian Thanksgiving yesterday. This has been a day in the past where we had a full
houseful of people and friends...but this year it was just us, so we had a "mini-thanksgiving" dinner.

No big turkey, just a skinless turkey breast which I wrapped in bacon - yum! It kept it juicy!

Well that's it for me today. It was 4°C this morning, winter is definitely coming! Even Inky refused to go out first thing! I hope everyone has a wonderful week! The kitties say "Brrr! Meow!"

Happy #800!! Wow, that's a lot of Wednesdays! I've been posting since August 1, 2012, #165. I wasn't as much into journaling as I am now, and I made a lot of cards, which I really don't anymore. I had 2 views of my desk at the time:

All of those drawers are no longer on my desk! I was noticing the little pile of Washi Tape on one of the boxes...I have a whole big drawerful now!

I gave Jasper the cat book, but she wasn't too impressed, hopefully she will like it more later on. We had a lovely few days with her, "Miss Bossy" these days, as 3 year olds often are! Here we are at a local coffee shop, listening to live music with our coffees, and a "Jasperchino" for Jasper (steamed milk)! Jasper loves live music, and the woman in the background is singing "Crazy" by Patsy Cline!

I hope everyone has a wonderful first week of October! The kitties are getting a bit chilly in the mornings, they come in to get warm then out again...but yesterday afternoon it was 30°!
