Hello everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Easter! My back is still in pain, kind of like a knife stuck in the middle (and to the right) of my back. If I don't move, everything is fine, but when I do move - ouch! The knife makes itself known! Anyway, lots of time with a heating pad, and at the chiropractor, and off work. But I am off pain meds, so progress. My daughter came for the weekend, which was wonderful, but not much happened in the craft room:

but it's still a mess!

However, the Easter Bunny came, as he does every year, no matter how old we get! Nice bunny!

and DD brought flowers as well! 

Easter dinner was lovely, I cooked a ham in the crock pot - but forgot to turn it on! 4:00 came around, and it was cold! Oh dear - popped it onto high and announced a late dinner, but we turned it into a l-o-n-g dinner! started appetizers

appetizers...and yes I put a shrimp on my egg and it was delicious...

then played a game of Labrynth...

then dinner...

then angel food cake with fresh strawberry sauce for dessert...

I think we were done by 10:00pm!

Ham and Navy Bean soup the next day - so good!

Nothing much from Inky and Mittsy today, Inky seems to be in an especially feisty mood, and Mittsy is playing into it! Lots of growling and hissing, and I can almost hear giggles from Mittsy!

Hello everyone! Although the temperatures are still hovering around zero, it's starting to look like spring in Southern Ontario, Canada! The snow is gone (thankfully!) and the ice is off the lake. The birds are chirping, and Inky is keeping close watch:

But you are here to see my desk, so here it is. Not much happening, I'm gesso-ing my pages in my junk journal. I have been off work since last Friday with severe middle-back pain from repetitive use (work) so I haven't done much. I will probably be off about 2 weeks, and hopefully will be right as rain by then.

 I did go and spend my Christmas money before I was laid up:

  and here it all is, $100 worth (actually, I went over by about $20!), so about £69.00

So I got my first Lavinia stamps, these are so much fun! I plan to use some in my journal

 and a dragonfly die cut, and an embossing folder

 a stencil, and some neat vellum sayings

 some Tim Holtz Washi tape, a new white gel pen some Clair re-inker (expensive!) and a fine-liner bottle

My friend Marg has more Lavinia fairies, so hopefully we can get together for some playtime!

I promised to show you the birthday card I made last week for my Son-in-Law. He posted a photo on Instagram of a trip he made to Lithuania, and I couldn't help but snag it and use it for his card!

 Which nicely lined up with the new season airing of Game of Thrones! If you know the show, you recognize the reference!

And here is Mittsy to round out the post, still chasing  shadows on the wall! She's getting very good at it!

PS: in case you were wondering, this wall is carpeted! I don't even bother straightening the pictures anymore...we will just wait until she's too old for chasing shadows!

Greetings all! Here we are again to look at each other's desks. Well finally mine has had some action!

Here is my desk this morning, I had finished my SIL's birthday card:

I can't show the card until next week, but it was a fun one!

I've been working a lot-so much for "part-time"! It feels like full time when I'm working 6 days in a row! Anyway, I will have Easter weekend off, so it will be worthwhile. 

I did do something with the feather stencil from last week:

I will probably do another one! This is in my junk journal.

My friend and I will be visiting our local stamp store tomorrow to spend my $100 GC from Christmas. I'm excited! I will be sure to show you all what I purchased.

Mittsy & Inky:

Mittsy got outside last night, in the dark, when I came home from work. Zoom! Out she went and I almost panicked! I got my phone flashlight on, and she came right to the light so I was able to pick her up. Scary!

Inky is going to the vet today for a vaccination. Not fun for her but it will be quick.

They both say "meow, have a great week!" as do I!

Hello everyone! I have been in my craft room all of 5 minutes this week, but here it is:

I painted the black page, then wiped the brush off on another page. We will see what comes of it!

I did get some new stencils that I am excited about - at the Dollar Store! I paid $1.25 for each one (.71 £) The feather one looks really nice.

Not much else is happening beside work and more work. I walked 65,365 steps last week, which is 43.73 kms! Wow!

Mere is a Mittsy photo for you today, her favourite sleeping spot. This is where she sleeps most of the night as well, in her own room!
