Hello all! Another power outage planned for today, but not until 12:00, so I at least have the morning to get things done!
Here is my desk at 9am this morning:
No art on it because the last workshop I took from the Woman Unleashed Retreat was about relationships - we had to fill out these forms. The info may result in a journal page, I don't know yet.
But here is the last journal page I made for the retreat. You had to turn your journal 90 degrees every few minutes to get a different perspective on your work, and add to it. The more I turned it it, the more I hated it! Finally I added the magazine woman and some paint, and it's at least acceptable now.
Here are my index cards this week, I'm up to 75! I had to skip a few days where I was just too busy:
And it is a BEAUTIFUL sunny day today, just after a rain, everything smells fresh, the dew is on the flowers, so I thought some garden pics would be nice!
My little perennial garden is starting to break out in flowers galore!
This is my little corner-of-the-driveway "grotto", small but oh so pretty! The roses are on the other side, and you can see the bird feeder on the upper right. We feed the birds, the squirrels, and the rabbits from this feeder!
Our first red rose:
The tomatoes are growing like wildfire!
And here are our first pink roses, picked a few days ago:
Hope I didn't bore you with all the garden pics! I have such a small garden, but it gives me so much joy!
Here's Inky, doing what she does so well!
I hope everyone has an awesome week, full of joy, creativity and love! I'm off now to visit yours!

Strange day today, the electricity was off from 9am to 1pm, throwing of my whole WOYWW! This was a planned outage, and if I'd had my head on right, I would have done all this yesterday, but I didn't. So I'm starting late. And then on Julia's website it said #421, but I know it's #420! AND last weeks #419 is missing from the website, so I lost out on seeing many of the posts last week, since I didn't get around to it until very late (busy busy busy!!) So if I didn't get to yours, I apologize, and if I didn't reply to a few who got to my desk, it was because the post was missing, so I will go to you first today!
Here was my desk this morning. I took the first photo from the door, showing my nice, formerly clean chopper, now full of STUFF! I was doing a journal project yesterday and I needed a lot more room.
This one is of the desk - I like all this room to work!
I joined a Women's Online Retreat called "Women Unleashed", and there are 2 workshops a day. I know I will only be able to do one a day at the most. On the weekend I made a journal called a "Cosmic Smash Journal" which was the first activity of the retreat.
Side view - and it smells like maple sugar!
My first workshop was yesterday by Shiloh Sophia, called "Embodied Succulence" - here is the page I did:
It was all about having a conversation with your body, getting to know and love your body! And we had to name our "lady" so I named her Lady of Growth". If you would like to join, here is the link at the bottom of this page
If you want to follow me to see the progress of this workshop, and/or to see my index cards, you can follow me on Instagram @lindart61
Here are my daily index cards from my Hundred Day Project from last week:
No garden photos today, but we are eating the lettuce, and fresh herbs!
Today 16 year old Penny says hello, she's never too far away!
So I am off to visit yours, not sure how many I will get to this week as it is even busier than last week! But I will make an effort!
Have a wonderful week,

Happy WOYWW day! We are having a lovely sunny and warm week so far! Hubby put on the AC because he can't stand humidity, while I say "what humidity?" LOL!
Here is my desk this morning:
Still not too bad! Only one stamp to put away! I'm on a roll!
Here are my index cards this week, #58-64
My tiny garden is doing well - we had our first lettuce harvest yesterday!
and some perennials about to bloom. . .
and hubby's precious Morning Glories are sprouting!
We had a wonderful weekend celebrating DD's 31st birthday (belated - she spent the real one in Las Vegas! My girl knows how to party!)
and when we say the water is high this year on the lake (Ontario), this is what we mean:
Inky says "hello" as she surveys her territory!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week, and that any Dads celebrating this Sunday have a great Father's Day! I'm off to visit yours now!

Another week has flown by! We are once again enjoying a lovely rain free, sunny day, after a few days of rainy weather. The cats are happy!
Here is my desk this morning:
And here are my index cards #51-57
And a journal page this week:
Sometimes, that's all we can do. This is actually a painting of the wife of Napoleon, but her expression is so sad, and the painting is so old there are cracks. Kind of how I'm feeling right now.
AS a US citizen living in Canada (thank goodness) I apologize for Trumps disgraceful behaviour to the mayor of London. He just latches on to things out of context and tweets, and then can't back out of it. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but he's an idiot. 'Nuff said.
OK, on to the garden! I have such a tiny garden compared to the massive gorgous ones I've been seeing on WOYWW, but it's mine, and I'm loving it all!
As someone said last week, how can your garden be "full"? I bow my head and say, of course it's not full! What was I thinking?
And so I have added a favourite flower I have always wanted, a poppy, an Icelandic poppy to be exact. It was so happy to be in my garden that it bloomed for me the next day! (there it is, in the back!)
I have also finished my "Grotto" a little corner garden surrounded by limestone rocks, a shady garden on one side, and sunny enough for roses on the other. Usually I plant impatiens, but last year they didn't grow at all - I thought they would fill in the blanks spots, but they didn't, so this year I planted the impatiens in pots - much better!
and the bushes are just now flowering as well! They are called Deutzia. So behind the rabbit, there are roses.
I also want to show you my "vegetable garden", tucked away on the porch, and beside the perennial garden!
Inky says "hello" although she is rather busy these days chatting with the birds! She had her "champagne" birthday (4 years old on the 4th) on Sunday! That's 26 cat years old! She's growing so fast!
Thank you so much for peeking at my desk and garden, I appreciate all of you so much! Now I will go and peek at yours! Have a wonderful week!
