Batles ATC Swap

Haven't been up to much lately, getting ready for a stamping workshop where I will be showing how to do a Tri-fold card to 22 people. Other than all that preparing and cutting, I have made 3 ATCs for a Beatles ATC  Swap for http://bockel24.blogspot.com. The Beatles were my favorite group when I was growing up, and I've done a few artsy things before with this theme!

The first two are using Tim Holtz products, the last is a Meer Image stamp. Can't remember who made the sun. So now they will by flying off to Germany!

March Journal Pages

Here it is a glorious Spring day, and I'm uploading photos on my blog! Waiting for my daughter to wake up (visiting from Toronto) so we can spend the day having lunch and shopping, and going to our favorite haunt, Chapters + Starbucks. A perfect day! The temperature is supposed to go up to 23 degrees (Celsius!) which is about as good as we got all last summer!


So here are my journal pages for March. A bit if tweaking this month. 

 The image came from one of CJ's magazines called "Bust" - instant love!

The black strip with flowers was some fabric tape I got for Christmas.

 I love B&W images so I can color them with my Copic markers! 

Thought I'd do a border of swirly stamps - I have a lot of these!

I found the dress (headless) in a magazine - looked very Caudine Hellmuth-ish to me!

I added the bird head (drew it) and colored it with Copic markers. the beak is a magazine cut-out

Thought I would try a mostly stamped page - all is stamped except the people images and the birds on their heads. Turned out OK! I think I'll do more of this type - I do have a lot of stamps that need exercise!

OK-off to have a bath and wake up CJ!
