I think I'm trying to put too many into one album. I haven't seen that glue before. I wonder if there's a UK alternative, or whether perhaps my low-tack stuff for stencils would do? Anyway, your system all looks great. That's a nice busy desk and I like your stencil projects too.

I'm not really self-isolating. I don't get out and about much anyway, unless my hubby takes me, so being at home all the time is no real hardship for me. Even when I was well and able-bodied, I always loved to be at home, being a real home bird! As for social distancing, our kitties could learn a thing or two from Inky and Mittsy I think. You know how they love to cuddle up close to each other lol!! Mittsy looks very superior and aloof in that photo! All my hubby's regular activities out of the house have been cancelled, and it's nice having him around a bit more. This is going to be good for his weight loss programme too, because even though his Slimming World group has been suspended for now, and he's only got me to be accountable to (which has never worked in the past lol!!) at least with him being here for all his meals, he's only getting what I give him!

Thank you for your visit and your comment really made me smile! You are right - generally, men are hopeless without us! I think the problem is that they never grow up. They have their mum to do it at first, and then their wives take over. I know men in the ostomy community who even depend on their wives to change their bags for them!!! I was told at the hospital that they wouldn't send me home till I was managing independently. Perhaps they don't say that to the men? We also know men with diabetes whose wives do all the record keeping and calculating their insulin doses. It's probably a good thing that women tend to live longer than men, because without us, they just don't cope!! My hubby has never taken the slightest interest in looking after himself and when we were engaged, and went to see the GP together so I could register with him, he read the riot act at my hubby, taking advantage of my presence, I think, and told him he'd have his first heart attack in the next 5 years unless he changed his ways, and it would probably be his last. From that moment on, I tried to take him in hand. The fact that after 33 years he is still overweight shows that I haven't been all that successful in my efforts! But at least he's still with us... I've learnt a lot since those days and now know the best way to deal with the problem and the silver lining of this crisis is that he's been forced to eat all his food under my supervision lol lol!!! I don't think he would call me a saint, though. And I am very glad I am not a man!!!!!

As for the knitting, designing your own is really easy. All you need to do is make a tension swatch and count the number of rows and stitches to the inch, and plot it out on graph paper. You can even get rectangular graph paper now, instead of squares, and there are computer programs to help too. I prefer to work from graphs because you can actually see what you are doing, and you can make things whatever size and shape you want. There's no magic to it really.

Happy belated WOYWW to you and Inky and Mittsy,
Shoshi x #22Shoshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00028185699225457125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10620506.post-68917406236270988502020-03-20T14:58:15.697-04:002020-03-20T14:58:15.697-04:00What fabulous storage. I am simply trying to be sensible at present, but haven't managed to do anything yet on my "to-do-while-restrictions-last" list!! Couldn't get myself into gear. I have actually finished a jigsaw which has been on the board for a week, and a blanket which I have been doing for a fortnight... but after my card-a-thon I have run out of steam!
Take care. How fab, would love a rummage!
